Did you make sure to hit F9 to export the EX graphics to file and then click the far right yellow mushroom on the mushrooms toolbar? Also, did you make sure to hit F9 on your map16 (16x16 tile editor) to sxave the data back to ROM? One last thing...did you change levels and back to update your changes?
Basically, Set BG EXGFX file to 80 Do changes in 8x8 tile editor Hit F9, then press the yellow mushroom button on the toolbar Do changes in 16x16 tile editor Hit F9 to save changes Hit Pg-Up, and choose whether or not to save Hit Pg-Down Check if graphics remain the same If needed, go to Level>Copy BG from... and type in the level that you want to copy the background from. |

I'm new at this so here it goes. i created a graphic in ExGFX80.bin and set the BG to 80 in the old gfx bypass to get the graphic into the game. Then I Copied the tile to the 8x8 tile editor window. The problem Im having is i set my BG back to the original but then the graphics i made become garbage. i was wondering how i can make the graphic to where i can see it no matter what the bypass is set to. |
