Another thing was that the enemies were unique. All different names. Really didn't have an impact on me until I played Capcom beat-em-ups. Gonna play MC now.

Yea...We cheated once by skipping to the last level, and unfortunatly we just could not beat it! It was pretty bad...
I liked Seperation Anxiety, even though the music was HORRENDUS!
The GFX seemed just better...
I'd buy it now just for fun since it's cheap, but not years ago...

You're better off picking up the original comics than breaking controllers in frustration. Far from the best Spidey saga, but not as horrifying as the clone deal.

I guess everyone agrees with that is was a hard game.

Captain Subtext, Green Jelly is AWESOME,

And Setz, you are very right. I cheated on my computer with this game, and that ending is like a kick in the balls. All that fighting, restarting, game over music......uggggg. And when you beat it.......hence, the kick in the nuts.

The graphics were cool, and I liked that there were so many characters, and a good plot, but yes, it was repetitive, and, EXTREMELY hard. (there was no options menu too I may add.)

Actually, I have, and yes, the game is extremely hard, and the ending is *so* not worth it. Really, it wasn't the getting game overs and having to start over that broke my controller, it was me yelling at my TV over what a shitty ending I got for playing all night long, way passed my bedtime [I was in middleschool at the time], for an ending that was like, boring, short, uninteresting, and overall lame . I loved the game, though. I <3 venom. I Thoughtless

Oh God.

I bought this game when it first game out. It costed $60 at the time.

Was it worth it?

Hell no.

It was a nice game and all but I never could pass it.

Awesome game. Extremely hard though. Green Jelly made it a masterpiece. Separation Anxiety was somewhat easier.

I find it too repetitive, even for a street brawler. And don't get me started on Separation Anxiety. The music was the only high point.

Has anyone ever beaten Maximum Carnage? I have only gotten to the last level, which is EXTREMELY hard.

I am not much of a Spider-man fan, but that game is pretty freakin sweet. Anybody's thoughts on the game would be nice....

Sonicandtails used to play it with me via internet, it was only one player, so we switched on and off. So I would appreciate his opinion too.
