These are possible... Though I didn't recall anything out of the ordinary, I just came to Ebay one day and it was there... |

Sure you didn't get a virus, worm, or trojan horse that stole your password? |

Believe you me, It was strong... I doubt they just GUESSED the password... It would explain a lot if you knew nothing about hacking...[you as in YOU BSD-Addict]. |

Try having a stronger password... that's pretty much it. |

I think for major cases such as this, we ought to take a cue from the People's Republic of China. |

Well, first off it's good that ebay responded to this seriously and they froze it all.
Otherwise, there isn't all that much to say about this. It's pretty nasty that it happened, and people that do this kind of thing really suck. I hope that ebay investigates the matter and takes action (aside from the freezing of the account). |

A while back, someone from Ebay had hacked into my account. They had a red superbike listed for $3,000. UNDER MY NAME! Now, thats a pretty good price. If someone were to have bought it... the hacker would've gotten the money, I would've been charged $3,000, and most likely other problems seeing as I couldn't ship the bike. This pissed me off, I contacted Ebay and they froze it. If I didn't know this, there would've been problems. What are your thoughts on hacking like this? |
