I can't even hack SMB graphics. There all scrambled into no order at all. And the palllet makes it look mind-numbing.

And it's even harder if you make graphics from scratch rather than merely editing the SMK ones...

Super Mario Kart graphics hacking takes time and skill. You have to edit the sprites ahead of time, copy them gently and accurately to tile layer pro, and make sure that the colors are what you want them to be. Like I said, it's very hard. I've been working on a Super Mario Kart hack since last October, and it only has 6/8 of the characters fully complete.

I recommend beginning on something easy, like Super Mario Bros. As you get more and more farmiliar with Tile Layer Pro, graphics editing, etc., then it might be time for Super Mario Kart.

I will give them credit, and perhaps, one thing they want.

Incorrect. He shouldn't quit because he can do this by himself. However, he should quit because he seems to have a general lack of enthusiasm and effort ready to be put forward in this.

Editing the sprites in Mario Kart is (won't say simple as, never done it) editing the graphics via TLP, YY-CHAR, your choice, and tweaking palettes with the help of other friendly board users. In know way is something like this going to take one or two days to do, which you seemed to think. I'm also willing to bet that you just stumbled on the hacking scene within the past two weeks. But back to the point, patience is a key to sucsesfully completing a well made hack, and things can't be rushed or else they look like:

A: Just another "hack".
B: Crap.

Also, the concept of having others do major work for you in a hack is quite dumb. How are you going to give them the "special thanks"? I raised this same question with a kid who wanted others to draw all his sprites for his Sonic game a while back. He said he would give credit, I asked if the credit would be in the form of contributors names being jammed in every tile, and he said some unrepeatable remarks.

Just focus on your own project, set your own pace, and only do what feels right. Or don't, won't make any difference to me.

Jeez, now I'm left in the dust. Great. Just... Great.
I tried to make some graphics, but it didn't work out...
I can't make driver sprites AT ALL. Oh man, I hate this.

I've decided to quit "your" hack, because:

1) I don't want credit for it.
2) I've never played a Bubsy game.
3) It's a waste of my time in general.

I'm sorry, but if you want a Bubsy hack to be complete, do it yourself.

Never mind, I figured it out. But, when I saved my course on it, it turned into Rainbow Road! What gives?

Well, now that it's working, I don't know how to use it. Little help, please?

No, you need the right version of the ROM.

Oh... O... K. I did not know that. If I atually had the right files to start up TrackDes, I would make some tracks, but I need t28.bmp

Uh, yeah. But I'll be doing other sprites in the game too.

You do realize that no one is going to credit you with this game right?

I wouldn't forsee anyone actually using the resized versions for anything but a starting point. Then you could edit them to make them look acceptable.

The automatic resizing part isn't possible, unless you're satisfied with shitty quality, broken black outlines etc....

Edit:
Oh, and some stuff you should think about:
Mario and Luigi use the same body sprites all the way up to lower third of their faces, so you'll need to have two characters with similar bodies for them. As for the twins floating, you either need to explain why they fall into deep water or off the edge of the track, or remove the possibility of falling.
