Well, unless the video was an Arkanoid speed run or something along those lines.
I still get similar effects sometimes with VBA + Trillian, but I blame the combo of the two. |

It's been nothing but annoying for me, trying to get screenshots.
Eventually, however, I found something that doesn't have it, and got my screenshots. So yeah. This was pointless. |

This happened to me before, too. I thought it was cool how you could copy that color with the eyedropper in Paint. |

Video Overlay Mode looks for one color (usually specified -- I know Winamp's AVS has an option for it), puts an image behind the screen and makes that color completely transparent.
Any instance of that color will show the image behind it, and I'm guessing it was using black (#000000), so any instance of black on the screen would show the movie you were playing. |

Yeah, happens to me every once in a while when my computer lags. It's nothing special. |

What happened to you happens to me sometimes. If a video is playing on VLC, it seems to go through web pages and just shows up, sometimes while paused.
At least it did on my old computer, it doesn't on this one. |

The color might be different from computer to computer... But yes, that's what I'm saying. Try taking a screenshot of the video, pasting it in paint and then have the video playing behind the window. |

It didn't work in that square but what you are saying is that his layout contained that color that made the video play inside of it? |

It's called hardware video overlay. It's used by most media players to improve performance, however, you can't take screenshots of it. If you do take a screenshot and paste it in paint, you will just se a Try it with this square: |

Yes that would make sence but the picture still appeared in the image for me.
Could somebody explain how the **** an video can overlap an layout when i have it minimized. The same also happens in IE. |

Because of some fancy video hardware thingy, videos in some programs are all unable to be print screened, I am guessing he tried to take a pic of a video that appeared overtop of the layout when the program was paused and minimized, resulting in a screencapture of simply the page. |

Allright now it gets freaky. It semms like it didn't show up in the picture for anyone else but it does for me..... Could somebody open up vlc media player and have the window behind his layout to see if it's just my computer being seriously messy. |
