EDIT: I tried to patch it, but it actually gets stuck at *Welcome to Yoshi's Island*...I'm wondering if maybe you patched wrong or something?

Guess what? Yoshi's Island Remix is finally ready to be tested. I have a demo here with the Welcome Level and levels 1-1 through 1-4 completed.

Here's the link. The Demo is under the blue link that says "DEMO: 1-1 Through 1-4" and is a .rar file, and the screenshots can be found through the World 1 link.
