I'm aware of that. Just to avoid the longevous gfx editing, I thought that the Bone and the Wrench look kinda the same..

And about the Blizzard Lakitu, that's great! And possible!

A fire Lakitu like the one in Yoshi's Island would be cool
To make it just change Lakitu's sprite (and palete) to look like the one in YI and instead of throwing spikies it throws the sumo brother's lighting.

would it be possible to make a rapid fire bullet bill shooter? like an automatic gun type thing that goes off every 15 seconds or so

Well, I'm not a programmer, so I'd have no idea how to go about this, but how about a Homing Bill? Not like Missile Bill from SMB3, but rather a Bullet Bill that acts somewhat like Bio's Metroid. with all 8 directions for a bullet bill to face, it wouldn't be too bad to see.

Thats actually a great idea.....once this sprite is made maybe go into reconfigurator and change its properties so that it can't be stomped on....then go into a hex editor or such, and change it so that it can't go through walls. That way u can outrun it and kill it without having to stomp on it.......or else it would be like the ultimate impossible enemy to beat.....also to make it a bit more tricky of an enemy to beat, maybe make it a bit faster than mario.

Another thought I had was a "Bizarrio" which would pretty much be Rex remade to look like Mario (except with a different pallete, or a color change of the skin, but it'd be faster, and capable of jumping. It'd be possible to have it "aggro" like some of the enemies on Super Mario Bros. 2, as well.

Then again, I'm an idea man, not a coding man, so I don't know how reasonable these ideas are.

Yesh, I did it in the SMWHC, so I'll post it again. Here.
Post your general Ideas and theories about new enemies here.
Keep it reasonable, nothing like "Über-Lakitu which turns Mario into a Metroid!!1!1!1one".
And please explain the way how you'd do it. THat way we can actually make it happen.
I'll start.

Venus Firetrap

Tools needed:
-Lunar Magic
-HEX editor
(-Super Mario World Reconfigurator)

First off Change the HEX address 0xEC32 into anything you want the Venus Firetrap to spit out.
I suggest something small. Any 8x8 - 16x16 sprite will do.
As you've changed the Address, you should have now a Lakitu which throws the sprite you want.
Now open up Lunar Magic's tile editor, and change Lakitu into a Venus Firetrap. Changing its pallette is advised, too. Then change the sprite which he spits into a fireball. If you want, you can change the properties with Super Mario World Reconfigurator so it cannot be stomped.
Be sure you change the 0xEC36 into something else unless you want him to throw another object while Silver P-Switch is active.


Rocky Wrench

Tools needed
-Lunar Magic
-Hex Editor

Same as above. Just make Lakitu to look like a Rocky Wrench, and make him throw a bone, just like Dry Bones.
