Well, if you learn most East Asian languages and not Western languages in the first few years of your life, then you likely won't be able to pronounce a proper L sound. Why she can't seem to use the L at all is surprising to me, rather than, as usually happens, a sound that is between an L and an R (as neither of those phonemes is distinct from that in-between one in several languages). |

Well, I think he was more referring to the fact that she didn't seem to be aware that, as the owner of a clock shop, constantly saying "cock" instead of "clock" might be something of an issue. |
