Something's happened to me
I just almost finished a room with LevelData, and then put ClipData accordingly. But after I saved, in the whole room every tile's TileData has been changed into the number of its ClipData (ie when a tile had clipdata 5a, then its tiledata has been changed into 5a too) What happened?! I just wanted to make a backup... and now I need to do the whole room again... EDIT: Damn, the ROM has been corrupted. I should make backups more often next time...

If they exist. I haven't found them if anyone wants to make a clipdata list for fusion feel free!

You can look for unlz77 since all sprites but samus are compressed and I don't believe so :/
Once I understand scripting and sprites should be pretty easy to put them in

Posts: 172/180 I'm really liking this release. Scrolldata Editing works like a charm. Although some of the rooms (like Crateria) are a bit messed up.
| I'm also working on the Music list. I'll probably continue on to the Tileset list as well. Any idea on what to expect on the next release? interdpth |
Posts: 357/362 Ok here's the rules
| If you don't see it on there. It's values are FFFFFFFF Use space bar to switch between scrolls Press control to enter moving mode and use the keyboard to move Press Shift to enter resize mode to resize. Simple Ramon |
Posts: 495/503 I was looking around, desperately looking for how scrolldata gets changed
| I really like the new version! EDIT: Originally posted by interdpth Just tried it. Debug is not for the start of the game. EDIT 2: I might sound stupid, but I'd really like to know... how do you edit Scroll: 2? And why's there no Scroll: 1 and can you add new Scrolls? EDIT 3 (how often still?): I think I could help a bit with finding out what each unknown clipdata does... Whereas I think 52 is shootable (never reforms) interdpth |
Posts: 356/362 If you want to do hex, use &H followed by the hex number that's all =P Simple! | FirePhoenix0 |
Posts: 102/102 I've been silently watching this for some time now. One thing I've noticed though:
| Why is the notepad sprite list listed in hex when in the program if you want to change the sprite to something else, you need to input the hex number in decimal? Couldn't you code it so that they either both are decimal or hex? interdpth |
Posts: 355/362 I think it might be for the start of the game but i'm not too sure, but the rest of them work as intended. | NEONswift |
Posts: 149/150 Played around with it yesterday...Im liking the stability of it all these days..
| Problem i noticed is the editor still leaves a process running in task manager after you click the close button. The scroll editing is a nice touch as I've now made the starting room one large open arena instead of a small confined area. Being able to move enemies also without having to use the old Metroid Zero Mission Header editor is a good thing. Can you explain the difference between the Item Editor's debug, easy, normal and hard settings? Obviously relatively self explanatory but when does debug jump into play? interdpth |
Posts: 354/362 I guess I should explain the rules for clip data.
| Shift for moving. Control for resizing. Us arrow keys, should work. Scrolling is what the room scrolls in. Take part of it off, you'll never seen that screen again. Alrighty time to go to the girlfriends. Peace! This is a long thread. Click here to view it. | |
