Yeash it seems like you're running into all of my problems I ran into when I started Hacking Zelda 3 in order.

Check out this thread Orochimaru helped me out a lot when getting started hacking I'm sure this can help you too. http://board.acmlm.org/thread.php?id=2878

PS --- The real info starts at the bottom of page 1 and continues onto page two.

Yes,
zcompress works now. But I´ve another problem.
When I try to extract the gfx from my room, zcompress says:
"This rom has no 0x200 byte header" or something like this.

Pretty sure that is answered in this guide:

Not sure if zcompress works on WinXP, but try hitting Windows-R, then type in cmd or command. i think it's cmd for WinXP. That brings up the DOS command line. Navigate to the folder that zcompress is in, and follow the instructions in the guide.

I´ve downloaded the tool zcompress to edit the GFX in my zelda 3 hack,
but if I open zcompress, it will be closed in a second, so that I can´t use it.
I use windows xp with service pack 2.
Anyone can help me?

edit: Sorry about my mistake in the name of the thread.
