I've never had that many problems shaving, just be patient and dont make any jerking motions when your shaving and you shouldnt cut yourself. |

I've been real foolish when I first started shaving. When my facial hair go a little longer, I THEN used the electric shaver, and it was bloody pain!!
But if you have problems with a regular blade; try shaving against the grain of your facial hair, and you'll be alright. |

Yeah, I have definitely found that if I go a little while without shaving, my electric razor isn't quite painless. Even then, it's not too bad, but I don't want to imagine how it would be if I let it grow out too much before trying. |

Since I am quite the lazy bum and have a facial hair growth rate not unlike that of the Wolfman, I use a 3-blade electric Remington every day. If I don't do it every day, the long hairs tend to get caught between the blades, and...ow ow ow. |

I really don't understand how people manage to cut themselves shaving. Maybe you're pressing too hard. Maybe I've just been lucky. |

Well, I use... umm... generic one bladed (maybe two bladed... don't quite remember) razors and Dollar General shaving cream... so far out of the five times necessary for me to shave, I never cut myself. Well, then again, that was five times. I only have to shave about once every other month since it doesn't grow that fast. Odds are that I will cut myself sometime.
Well, everyone has their specific needs for shaving... whether it be face, legs, or head. It is just figuring out what works best for you, I guess... |

I recommend the Mach 3 Nitro, it works really good, and I should know. I used to use the disposable, but now when I even use it the first time, it hurts like crazy!! But try the Mach 3 Nitro it shaves really good! |

Heh. The first few blades deal with the hair, the rest of them basically help you look like this...

HAH you guys have to use razors. I just apply some cream and boom, its all gone. |
Skydude Posts: 1913/2607 |
What I find really funny is how they keep putting more blades on razors, and it's just so revolutionary each time. I recall there being jokes about the 5-blade razor back when the 3-blade one came out...and now, well, it's a reality. |

I always use my Norelco electric razor. It's the only way to go. And it's good for trimmin' the magical forest downstairs, too. I use a different head for that though. I ain't shavin' my face with the same head I use for my nuts. |

Ok. Seriously try using a Gillette Venus razor. Yes, a Venus, the pink razor that is supposed to be a "girl razor". I'm telling you as someone with the hardest and fastest growing facial hair ever, that those things will give you the cleanest, closest, smoothest shave you can possibly get with almost no irritation at all.
When dealing with razors and other very sharp objects, I don't get hung up on the fact that my razor is pink and has a little flower graphic on it. You know what I notice? I notice the fact that the blade gives a flawless shave and lasts a SERIOUSLY LONG TIME without getting dull. |
