Having it vertical isn't good for the discs, but I've never heard of it doing that. Try holding the door open. Maybe even gently pulling it out; just stop if it resists too much.

Like, do you know how to take things apart and put them back together? Otherwise, you might have to see if anyone at a local game store might know.

Indeed no noise. I see it move slightly, without any sound which isn't made by every tray-based drive in existance. The console has been in vertical mode a good while, if that helps.

I am far from an expert, but are you sure there's no noise? Put your ear to the tray area and listen to see if anything is moving at all. Not that useful advice, but it could atleast help others on here help you.

The thread title says all. I like that game of course and it runs perfectly, but won't come out.
This system is unmodded, rev. 50001, NA region. The tray moves forward a couple millimeters than goes back in. No noises are made. What can be done to open it safely? At least I'm glad the disc inside plays fine.
