IN KEEPING WITH MY ORIGINAL CLAIM TO USE ALL CAPS IN THIS THREAD (TO INDICATE THAT I AM CLEARLY SERIOUS ABOUT THIS BUSINESS), I WOULD LIKE TO DIRECT YOUR ATTENTION SOME PIECES OF RELEASE INFORMATION FOR THE NEW EARTHBOUND GAME THAT HAS BEEN RELEASED FOR THE GBA, COURTESY OF STARMEN.NET. WITHOUT FURTHER ADO:
AGAIN, TAKE NOTE OF THE SERIOUSNESS OF THIS BUSINESS. |

Altough I owned a Super NES, I never actually got to play Earthbound on one. I played it a couple of years back on an emulator though, but I didn't really like it. Fun, no doubt, but the game mechanic is a little flawed. |

You mean the GBA port isnīt released in the US either?
I wouldnīt mind getting it here either. Itīs not my favorite game but itīs very good. I got pretty far until some jerkass decided to infect the computer with a virus. |

Earthbound IS my favorite game, period, whatever the platform and/or genre it is, and will probably for a long time be my #1 game. Quirky story, nice character design, good music and the list goes on and on. it also rocks that this game has a dedicatng ROMhacking community. |

I've never actually played Earthbound, but I have seen screens and sprites. Lots of... unique enemies. That's the only game I know of where you can fight melted clocks and whatnot. |

Heh. I love Earthbound. It's also one of my favorites. (I can't say it's my favorite... I still love M&L SS and 7th Saga.)
That should have been obvious since I made this my layout though. |

Grey is being understated.
When, some day in the future, games are recognized as an artistic medium, Earthbound will be the one cited by all the game-buffs as the first game to be truly worthy of being called a work of art. Boing! |

YOU SIR HAVE JUST SAID THE WORD THAT WILL MAKE ME SPEAK ENTIRELY IN CAPS FOR THIS THREAD BECAUSE I AM CLEARLY A HUGE EARTHBOUND FAN.
THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE EARTHBOUND IN THIS WORLD. THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE STARMAN, MORE DR. ANDONUTS, MORE POO, MORE EVERYTHING. I MEAN SERIOUSLY, I CANNOT ACTUALLY BELIEVE HOW AWESOME THIS GAME IS. IT IS BY FAR THE SINGLE GREATEST RPG I HAVE EVER PLAYED. THIS IS THE GAME THAT MADE ME A NINTENDO FANBOY. THERE IS SO MUCH YOU CAN DRAW FROM THIS GAME. I HAVE WRITTEN SCHOOL ESSAYS ON THIS GAME. IT IS, TO USE MY COMMON LINGO, WICKED FRICKIN' SWEET. |

Earthbound is a wonderfully eccentric game, yay for emulation since my parents never bought me a Super Nintendo, and definitely a unique experience.
Thought maybe not TOO unique. There's supposed to be another game in the series (Which includes the unreleased-in-the-US "Mother" for NES) coming out for the GBA in the not-too-far-future. |

Just hope no one's made an EB thread already...anyway, I happen to still like Earthbound. It's one of the few RPGs I've played, and the only thing I've ever gotten off EBay (). It was full of strange enemies, odd humor, and battle scenes that made you go cross-eyed. Well then, what do you think of the game? |
