Ok, I guess the other people that have those letters are using Triton or something. I wanted them for this week cause our dorm has a week long party and our letters are delta omega gamma, so i was trying to get them in the profile, but I guess it's not gonna happen. Oh well, thanks for the help. |

You can't. End of story. Those characters are not in the ISO-LATIN1 extended codespace and the AIM text controls only supports the default 8 bit ascii codespace (Latin 1 ext on 99% of machines).
You have 3 options: 1: Give up. 2: Get AIM Triton which supports unicode. 3: Change your system default codepage to another one that supports the greek, keeping in mind that OTHER PEOPLE will still see them as '?' in your profile, thus making the change essentially pointless. |

Yeah, I tried doing that from winword and it just put three ? in place of the characters. Any other suggestions |

Copy and paste from another window. This works for 99% of text boxes. You can use it to insert tabs and line breaks into single-line text boxes, foreign characters in Gaim, etc. |

Does anybody know how to put special characters into a standard AIM profile v5.9.3861.
Specifically I would like to know how to put the greek characters for Delta, Omega, and Gamma, all capital. Thanks |
