Yeah I thought this was pretty insane myself, although I heard it was 30,000 accross the Midwest. Although it doesn't affect me it affects 30,000 Americans. Hopefully something will make it stop or hopefully the unemployed will find another job thats even better. |

Including closing down the 4th most efficient facility in NA
Now, this story has a particular relevance to me, mostly because the loss of those 4000 Canadian jobs is going to cause a cataclysmic shift of jobs. Basically, the auto-part feeder plants are going to close down WITH GM. The money just won't be enough. Then, on top of that, Oshawa is completely dependant on GM for money. Oh, yeah. I've got family at GM, too. |
