I made a few updates to the game that you can download HERE if anyone is interested: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ROONUBTE

I changed a few of the chipsets and fixed some bugs that people told me about.

Those screens do indeed look quite good ... It's 100% completed as well! Wow ... this might be fun.

Use RMXP, 'cause you can use bigger sprites an you're not limited to low colour depth in the graphics you use.

If you're not worried about the limitations of the program and want cool features from the get-go then go with RM2K3. XP is cool, official release and all, but if you were content with RM2K's limitations I see no real reason to use it over the others, it actually has less features out of the box, sure you can script them all back in but all publicly available scripts I saw were under-commented and annoying to implement.

I'm not too sure how many people played it let alone beat it but I'm going to start making the sequel. If anyone has some ideas that they'd like to see in the new one i'd appreciate if you posted and let me know. I was going to make the sequel to it on RM2K XP or 2003 but im not very sure which is better and also, it would be TONS of work to make battle characters of the original stars. Maybe someone has an idea. If so please let me know.

I sure do!

Acmlm's board will always be special to me 'cause it was the first forum I ever posted on. That was a loooong time ago now tho....The board has crashed 3 times since i've first registered. It's still awesome here, though.

Just try double clicking RM2000 8 and RMG2000 8 fonts in the C:\WINDOWS\Fonts directory. Sometimes that helps, if not delete them and install new copies of them.

I don't know how to fix that.. I tried using the patch and it didn't work so....

It looks like where ever you have them hosted doesn't allow hot linking.

Edit: I hope I won't have that hideous font if I install this...

Just use the HTML image tag. Nobody likes UBBcode anyway.

You need to upload them somewhere and then put the urls in [img] tags.
