I start the game at the level select, too.

I'm unable to play this level.

And when I go through here to exit the castle for Luigi's lava room, I end out in a room that has a cape block instead.

Odd, I could only do that after properly finishing the hard mode. I have one of the old versions of the hack, so I believe that redownloading isn't going to help. I suppose we'll have to wait until Chaos Force gets back from vacation.

Hm, I could do that from the very beginning!? Maybe I should redownload the hack...

Hex 200 hundred worked. But what is the first field and other fields of zero for?

To hex 200.

Don't worry if rom patches make the rom up to 2, or even 4, MB. That's actually normal nowadays.

About the final boss... whenever you attack him, his jaw always goes from green to orange and back.

When you say the first 200, do you mean to C8 or to hex 200?

EDIT: I'm starting to believe I have the wrong ROM, as the IPS makes the ROM 4 times bigger and the hex editor displays large fields of zero.

Open up your original rom in a hex editor. Are the first 200 hex bytes 00?

If not, add them (DO NOT OVERWRITE).

I had a similar problem awhile ago.

I'm having trouble geting this game to boot. Is Super Mario World (U) (!) the right version, and should the ROM be 2MB after the patch?

Well it's hard to spot errors when you don't get stuck in them... I never got stuck in the boosts, i never saw the ice bit with the hills.

I knew about that, but I totally forgot to check the wall... thanks anyway, though.

Actually, since i knew someone could get stuck there if they are hatless, there should be breakable brick even if your hatless.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Once again. I apolgize for the glitches in the game that MY BETA TESTER SHOULD HAVE POINTED OUT *gives evil glare*, But most are my fault and I should of checked it myself.

Unfortunatly I can't fix them for a few days as I will be on vacation. I'll get then fix when I get back. And I'll try to add a little something for the people who have already played though this. I have an idea recently and I think I'll try it out.
