That's certainly true, but on the other hand, I like to have as much information about a product as possible before buying it. Not that Microsoft only puts useful information on their packaging (ha!) but some info is better than none.
Although I've never seen the iPod box up close, so I can't really say if I like it.

I was more sad than anything.
That kind of microsoft let's put shit everywhere packaging is the kind I really hate. There's something to be said for simplicity and sleekness. The MS type package is the type I avoid at all costs. |

considering I dont really like microsoft, although I dont really like apple at all either, I would pick the microsoft box, looks alot better, and has information on it. not to mention it actually looks better. |

Funny stuff...and so true--microsoft throws a bunch of information on to their packaging while apple goes for the simple design. Completely different paradigms of packaging design.

Apart from being quite funny who people who know both companies well, it's apparently was made by Microsoft employers. They probably just wanted to poke fun on traps that Microsoft have done in the past when it comes to packeting.
