I thought it would be a cool job but it gets old like any other part time job. Before this I worked at a library putting books away , then before I had a seasonal job at Sam Goody, before that I worked at Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins which was pure hell , and my first job was a counselor at a playground.

LucasArts? What kinds of games were those? I can't entirely remember... I remember the Star Wars games but that's about it.

It's always great to see more game designers around.

Yes, LucasArts has a bunch of Star Wars games, but during the 90's they had a series of clever, funny, and entertaining point and click adventures, which include the Monkey Island series, Sam and Max, and Maniac Mansion. I want to design these types of games because I really miss them .

I think i have to stay 2 years or more at Univ. because i failed some courses, so i'll be out at 26

Good Luck to everyone in your jobs/collegue/high school

Good luck to you as well!

I'll be studing more than playing games or tv. Once done with college I will be searching for career job and be making $50,000 a year in starting.

That is my dream job!

I see that most of the people here are professionals. That's a good thing.

I am hoping to apply my business skills to making a game design company of some sort. I'm not quite sure what I'll be doing with it, though.

I'm kind of looking forward to being a piano tutor. That should be pretty interesting.

I am not studying anything at the moment. I have job, and it's crap. I don't want to say what it is, other than that it involves selling stuff.

I have been, and am, thinking about studying meteorology at the university of Bergen, but I haven't started yet, because I'm not sure if it's the right thing for me. I'm gonna have to start something by autumn next year, and I don't know what else I want to do, so I should probably just go for it..

Finished my B.A. in communications in 2003. Now, I'm a sportswriter for a weekly paper in Connecticut (uh, it's in my bio). When I was in school, I was trying to double-major in communications and poli sci, but didn't finish the latter in time. If possible, I'd like to go back and finish it, and maybe get my Master's in communication. By board standards, I'm ancient at 24.

I'm finish my second year at a Catholic University in Puerto Rico. My BA is in systems information. My real dream is to write for a magazine or a newspaper but nonetheless computers is what I major in.

I have no job at the moment. I really haven't tried looking for one.

Relationship wise. I'm single. Holding a streak of 4 rejects straight. As you can tell my luck is bad and I'm a bitter person..

*On a side-note. Looks like I'm the only person so far that has posted in this thread who enrolled in college at the age of 17.

I'm travelling to Tromso. How is the application process to the university? University of Toronto has an awesome correspondance program with that school. I'm going to attempt to apply to do a poli-sci year there.

Well, application for a Norwegian goes through "samordna opptak" (cooperated admission), which means that a Norwegian applicant basically lists what and where he wants to study in order of preference (for example, an applicant may put something like: 1. History - University of Oslo, 2. History - University of Bergen, 3. Social Anthropology - University of Oslo, 4. History - University of Tromsø). The state then sends his High School graduation results (and any other information that may give him a bonus when applying, such as him having spent one year in the army) to the schools he has applied to, and then the highest preferred programme that accepted him will be where he studies.

However, I have no idea how it works for a foreigner. I'd guess you'd have to do it through the University of Toronto.

I'm trapped at the University of Rhode Island as a first-semester freshman. I'm getting a double B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics, and I intend on getting my Master's degree in Compsci. I'm hoping to spend my final year in Japan, and maybe get into technological development there. I can't wait.

Currently, I'm employed at Toys 'R' Us as a sales associate (read: Grunt worker). The magic does NOT begin there, people.

20, study political science at the University of Tromsø (the northernmost university in the world). I have no ideas whatsoever what I want to do with my life or study later (hence the current situation studying a social scienc, none of us know what we want to do). I'm done with my 3rd semester soon, meaning I have 3 semesters left on my betchelor's degree.

Umm... I'm 19 and I'm in my last year of Computer Science at Vanier College. After I finish this programme I'll be going into Film Production or Film Studies at Concordia. I'm currently working on a portfolio so that I can atleast try to apply for Film Production.

It should take another four or five years before I finish University; unless I go for a Masters Degree which would add another two years to that number. I'm thinking about going for a Masters Degree so that I can become a teacher. Teachers get a summer vacation which is really nice.
