Ah, Drew Carey is great.
I'm not really worried about driving, since I didn't drive while I was there. And as for crossing streets, it'll certainly be easier than crossing in Rome, which was INSANE. |

Welcome back to the US of A!
Never been to Cleveland, but from what I hear, Cleveland rocks. (OHIO!). |

Look the wrong way, drive on the wrong side of the road... yeah. All very understandable even if the judge wouldn't side with you. |

Well, unless you're leaving right now, that's not necessarily the case. I hardly think I'm going to spend the next two hours doing nothing but posting.
Unless things are interesting, in which case I'll do it while checking email and the like. I just know I'll get hit by a car since I'll look the wrong way when crossing the street. |

Welcome back to the US, Skydude. Where everything is (Crud! I'm going to be foiled again in winning the ACS!!) |

What's up in Cleveland that you'll be seeing, Nick?
Anyway, as you can see from my location, I'm back now. |

I don't like coffee either. My prefered method of staying awake...is with apples. More effective, and healthier too! |
Skydude Posts: 1284/2607 |
You're talking to a college student here. I have no problem staying up when I need to do so
I don't really like coffee that much. Caffinated tea is infinitely better. |

Oh I...
I misread his post. My suggestion then would be... Coffee. Lots of coffee. |

+5 time difference, you know.
Could be worse. Could be travelling to Australia or something silly like that which can totally warp your system. |
Skydude Posts: 1283/2607 |
Um, because at this point, I'm planning on LEAVING for the bus station in 40 minutes. |
Alastor Posts: 3738/8204 |
If that's the case, why not just go to sleep right now? You'd be pretty set to not oversleep that way. |
Skydude Posts: 1275/2607 |
Oh, I definitely won't be worried about oversleeping once I get back. I'm worried now about going to sleep and sleeping through my alarm, and then missing when I need to get up to go catch my bus, and thus miss my plane back to the US.
I have little planned once I'm back home. I can sleep all day if need be. And I may do just that. |

Sounds nice, Sky. Although I really do think that you go to sleep for a while (ideally when you get back), even if you do run the risk of oversleeping. As Colin mentioned, it would reduce the risk of being hit by the time zone change. There's no need to be nervious. |
Skydude Posts: 1273/2607 |
Well, I just get nervous about potentially oversleeping when it would be a serious problem like it would be in this case. Besides, I don't have much to do on the plane, especially if I don't want to see the movie(s) playing. This way I'll be more likely to be able to sleep on the plane. |
Cynthia Posts: 1979/5814 |
I don't blame you for not sleeping although I probably would make a futile attempt to do so... 4 hours > 0 hours. :\
I think the time zones are going to hit you. At least the first day or two... |
