Usually the second time you start a hack, it looks way better. You might as well copy your overworld to new rom (if it looks good) and hope you don't screw up again.

He PM'ed me with the problem. From what it sound like it was a backup patch. Bad idea. Probalay adding a modified ROM patch to an already modified rom probably wasn't the best idea.

Always backup the Full version of the ROM.

Yes. Yes it is. I don't know what you might have done, but whatever it is, it wasn't a very good move on your part. Judging by the sound of it, your problem didn't lie within the ghost house exits, but the patch you applied. Just which patch was it, anyhow?

Now, I'm having even more problems. When I tried modifying the Ghost House exits to look different, I screwed up the whole hack. I applied a patch I had created prior to that and a bunch of garbage came up on the title screen. My hack's falling apart!

Your problem might be the ol' "IPS file with the same name as your hack in the same directory" problem. Check. If the IPS is there, either delete it or rename it.

I just changed the title screen for my SMW hack, but when I go to actually play the game, nothing shows up except the demo movie. I saved my changes back to the ROM, but they aren't showing up the way they should.
