Yeah, well, he could hack the bullet bill code to fire when the player is standing next to it. Or alternatively, move the vine back a little. Then again, they could just jump up the vine (grab, jump).

The hack? It looks fun enough to play. Only thing I see wrong is the green space in the 6th screenshot.

Er... bullet bills don't shoot when you're against the shooter.

Looks like a crazy bonus room, though.

Well...the screens look alright...but this is nothing novel at all. Just the same old SMAS rips, so this isn't very impressive. If you have any talents in artwork or ripping from games we don't see much graphics from, I suggest you put those skills forth. Plus, all those bullet machines look pretty tough .

And peter_ac, relax. You ask for too much credit .

Its ok. Its using the same simple ExGraphics that everyone else uses and there seems to be an appearent misuse of Bullet bill shooters. Also level 1-1 seems a bit repetitive and you should only use the bonus round bg for bonus round stuff....But thats just me

Eh... It looks okay. This is your first time hacking, though? Well, anyway, I don't think the brown brick jumping from one to another really fits. It should be useful, though; but I think the level can be better than that.

I'm gald your using something besides the standard SMW GFX.


Compliments: Good interesting theme; making Luigi the main character.
Comments: Try to make it kind of like Mario 64, but in a side-scrolling way, or just simply make a good fun normal yet original hack.
Complaints: Have none
Suggestions: Make some really unique obstacles, and puzzles, like climbing up to "here" hit the P switch so you can get "here", leave clues for ivisible blocks; leave more obvious clues to find invisible blocks that help you get through the regular exits.

From what I see looks good, keep it up, but make sure to have a variety of types of levels.
