This was an interesting comic. The Magikoopa and Bowser sprites on the OW images are great. I liked it. |

Great job. you can choose to turn off the future levels, though. it's in the menus of lunar magic somewhere... |

I'd love to see someone do some asm hacking and make this an actual intro for the game. |

I like this comic, it adds an interesting new storyline to the old and boring smw. |

Thanks. I was trying to fit in lots of Bowser's minions in there to steal the eggs in different ways.
Odd though, I don't quite recall having LM at the time of making the comics, but I must have, or else the translucent bridge and levels wouldn't be showing. Well, I definitely know that about 1/3 of the screens there are actual screenshots I took directly from the game, after I disabled the status bar layer on ZSNES. (pressing 3) I remember how much trouble I had and how many times I had to use the rewind function to get the perfect screens for those. (Kinda like my hack and the amount of times I had to go through to try and get the opening video right. Don't you hate how the recorder messes up the sprite-locations a tiny bit, but just enough that it doesn't end up looking like you'd hope?) |

Cool. I can tell you used Lunar Magic for the map. I can see the bridge and levels. I love so many people run in and steal the eggs. |

It was an okay comic. It actually seemed as if it could go with the story... I liked it; wasn't bad. Nice work. |

Whoa. I just checked the game. I guess that somehow bowser's arms (or at least, what I THINK they are... they're stuck up in a weird way) were somehow parts of a witch, or something.
No matter, I can fix that comic in a matter of seconds. There we go! I've edited the first post and fixed the comic. |

Thanks. I take pride in the overworld sprites.
I know the text is overdone, I don't really see how much of that could be spoilers (also seeing as the game's about 15 years old...), and I think that's actually a witch's eye or something that's glowing and flying around the castle. (Likely another Magikoopa) I was trying to get it to seem like something that could go officially with the story. |

Aside from the not-so-savvy story, the overworld sprites do indeed, kick ass.
It's the art that matters here so I'll give you a thumbs up. EVERYONE!!! See what a little creativity can do... it sure as hell beats copy and paste. |

It actually amused me. I could picture that with the SMW story. |

Spoilers all around, overdone text, awesome map sprites. The panel where Bowser's castle is shown still has Bowser's eye glow when he's at the door of the castle. It's like he's in two places at once.
But besides that, It's decent. Not funny, not overly serious.... just done. Done is okay though. |

A few months ago I made a spritecomic about what happens just before Super Mario World. It mainly revolves around Yoshi, and how he eventually got trapped and had to wait for Mario to save him. There's a slight chance I might eventually make more, but I'm just not all that sure how I'd do it. I don't want to go through every level individually, but I don't want them to go so quickly that the reader will be all, "WTFZ???"
Anyways, here's the comic. It ends off when Mario jumps on Yoshi for the first time. Post your thoughts, comments, etc. |
