16. *Agudr rgw kwrrwea ri rgw eufgr ri dufyew ur iyr.-Shift the letters to the right to figure it out.* I made the original phrase with a comma, shift that to get the period. You missed that but hey.
20. *SIX* Kario=28 Points **FIRST PLACE** NSNick=24 Points *second place* Kario will get the Grand Prize. It's a romhacking riddle! NSNick will get the second prize after Kario figures his out. Both riddles are of the same game, and the Second prize is a lot easier to figure out. I may redo this again someday... |

20 is kinda whacked out. If you had a thick pen, you could just draw a 6 over the IX as long as you didnt lift the pen. |

11. *The other 10 guessed all 4 correctly. You cant guess only 3/4 correctly, because you cant. You guess 3 of them, there is only 1 left to guess.*
With that, I will give one (or two) more sets of riddles. After that I will give my prize (most likely to Kario, hope he likes ROM hacking... ). 16. What's wrong here: Agudr rgw kwrrwea ri rgw eufgr ri dufyew ur iyr, (6 points) 17. You are walking through a field, and you find something to eat. It doesn't have bones, and it doesn't have meat. You pick it up and put it into your pocket. You take it home and put it on a shelf, but 3 day's later it walks away. What is it? (4 points 18. There are 20 people in an empty, square room. Each person has full sight of the entire room and everyone in it without turning his head or body, or moving in any way (other than the eyes). Where can you place an apple so that all but one person can see it? (4 points) 19. A butcher is 5'4" and has a 42 inch waist, what does he weigh? (4 points) 20. 13. *They switched camels with eachother.* Now it's a race for speed. 14. *Koneko* M = 1 S = 9 O = 0 N = 6 E = 5 R = 8 D = 7 Y = 2 15. *Red is wearing a green suit, Blue is wearing a red suit, Green is wearing a blue suit.* Zem 11. In a contest, four fruits (an apple, a banana, an orange, and a pear) have been placed in four closed boxes (one fruit per box). People may guess which fruit is in which box. 123 people participate in the contest. When the boxes are opened, it turns out that 43 people have guessed none of the fruits correctly, 39 people have guessed only one fruit correctly, and 31 people have guessed only two fruits correctly. How many people guessed only three fruits correctly, and how many people guessed all the fruits correctly? EDIT: Sorry, I'm an idiot for forgetting the question... (4 Points) Finish this last riddle for some more fun. Kario=18 Points NSNick=6 Points Koneko=6 Points Smallhacker=6 Points Zem=4 Points Looks like Kario might be getting the prize... If he can survive. |

No, the M has to equal 1. |
Kingpin Posts: 29/709 |
Well, if everything but the Y is equal to 9, then the Y is equal to 8, that works too. So I guess there are many possible answers. |

Sadly, I think what was meant was
_SEND _MORE ______ MONEY Like an addition problem where each letter represents a unique number from 0 to 9, and the words are 4 and 5 digit numbers. This is a lot harder, anyway. Incidentally, it's not college-level logic. M = 1 S = 9 O = 0 N = 6 E = 5 R = 8 D = 7 Y = 2 Resulting in 9567 + 1085 = 10652 Which works. |

Originally posted by spel werdz riteThere are 24 possible arrangments, and only 10 people out of 123 got it right. Quite amazing, actually, considering the fact that the odds would say that only 5 or 6 would get it. As for what order the fruits are in, there's no way to say with 100% certainty what the correct answer would be. I'm pretty sure that knowing what the question was would've made this a lot easier. And even though it's mainly just nitpicking, a typo in #12 makes it so you could say anything you want, as HE would be the one to get shot or hung. |
