I have the official utils and the one that doesn't suck. The official utils are patched to enable some extra features, but I don't think they work. The ROM is included to reflash with, it comes with the program so I don't think they care. (Plus Interact is out of business, and I don't think Datel had anything to do with the software.) The other program (GSCC) also has AllowIO (which it needs to work on WinXP) and Niew (for viewing N64 ASM). |

eh... On the topic of the GS, does anyone have a copy of the gameshark PC software, or know where to get a copy? Last I checked it was free, but by the time I got to downloading it it didn't seem to be on their site anymore. |

Yeah, that happens all the time. Only real way to fix it is to reflash via parallel port. Thank Interact's horrible programming. |

If the hardware has a 25-pin LPT port on the back of it (GameShark Pro v3.1+), you can use GSCC2K2 to upload a new code list. |

I deleted a GoldenEye code, then Perfect Dark appeared at the bottom of the GE code list, then I went back to the list of games, and the GS froze. Now when I turn it on again, it still freezes when I go to the game list. I think my GS's code list is corrupted. Is there a way to delete all the codes and games from its memory? |
