It's weird, I joined in late 2001, and even I DUNNOOOOOOOOOO who a lot of these people are. Leaving for 2 years or so in Mid-2002 may have had something to do with that, though.
EDIT: Incidentally, you had me confused for awhile, since Paragon is the online name of another guy I know from some other boards. |

There are actually a surprising number of us from the "old" boards still around, or returning relatively recently, Paragon, and probably more in your opinion than mine, seeing as I think you were there for a little while after I left, and there are some people from that period.
And even the others are worth it, a good group of people |

Sorry I haven't been around IRC for, well, the past 3 years.  At its best, it's like my friends' old house - open 24-7, available for you to wander in and out as you wished, usually had someone around to hang out with - and you can come and go whenever and have fun times. Sometimes I miss that. But it does have a tendency to get you stuck at the computer until the conversation is over, and I really don't like being stuck at the computer for that sort of reason (which is also why I don't MMORPG and probably never will). I've been busy for a while, which kept me away from chatty type stuff, and I meant to come back, but it just isn't happening. I much prefer the asynchronity of message boards. Anyway, glad to see you back on the boards. |

Well... it doesn't seem like there are a lot of people who used to post when I was around who still post now... which is a shame really. I might have to get to know you all again.
And quite honestly, I doubt you're all worth it. [grin] And I didn't post in the newbie forum because there are very specific rules about not posting there if you're not a newbie. I have been here before, and for quite a while, so I'm not a newbie and thought I'd announce my return here. |

Wow, lots of oldbies coming back all at once. I'd like to think I started this trend...which there is admittedly SOME truth to, as I got Ephy and Amanda to come back, and she brought CESum along.
