Sorted now. Found out all i had to do was tick the secure password box thing for outgoing mail. it working fine and dandy now.

Make sure your ISP doesn't block port 25 outgoing... mine does, so I had to reroute outgoing through 27 (which my hosting service thankfully offers)

i get this error. I can recieve mail but cant send it
