Oh cool thread!! I would like them to remake TLOZ: Ocarana of time; like Twilight princess' graphics; how tight would that be, eh?

^ And more levels.

Ports I'd like to see that are actually possible:
-Zelda OoT for DS
-Final Fantasy 1 through whatever for GBA/DS/Gamecube (They did a few already...)
-Paper Mario for DS (not necessarily a port, just some kind of PM game)
-Tetris Attack/Panel De Pon for GBA/DS (better yet, both in one )
-Super Mario Land 2 for GBA/DS, with some of the stupider 'features' removed (get a game over and you have to beat all the bosses again, what the fuck, and how about programming that doesn't suck this time)

Ports I'd like to see that are possible, but will never happen:
-Zelda OoT for DS, with all the 64DD stuff
-Super Mario RPG for DS (but longer!)
-Duke Nukem 64 for Gamecube (with way better graphics)
-Pokémon G/S for DS, in 3D (hell I'll probably end up at least trying to do this, but the DS will probably be way out of date by then)
-Super Mario 64 DS Take 2: This Time We Did It Right

Ports I'd like to see that would require some miracle (or an unofficial homebrew port )
-Diddy Kong Racing for DS
-Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie for DS
-RC Pro AM for Gamecube, in 3D

I'm with you there! The original Super Mario Land with enhanced graphics/sound, battery-backed save, the ability to play as Luigi, and the ability to backtrack. That would rock!

And a game I'm playing through again in preparation for speedrunning it someday: The Magic of Scheherazade. Fun Culture Brain game where you're Scheherazade's boyfriend saving her and some other princesses by travelling through time. Good stuff.

Well, they remade DQ4 in Japan for the PSX with 3D graphics and all that, so it's not outside the realm of possibility... and don't forget that the DS version of FF3 is going to be in 3D as well.

Would be intesting, especially if they include puzzles from all four lolo games (Yes, there's a unreleased prequel. It's gameplay is kind of diffrent too.)

Remaking Zelda: Ocarina of time could be tricky though. Apart from the dodgy way of playing the ocarina compared to the orginal N64 controller, it was still good enough to make it playable. Ok it might work, but the controller changes might be little annoying at first. New minigames could make up for this though...

I need to try the PC port if I can ever find it one day and patch it. I've played the originals but... the remakes... look so good.

DS or PSP would be ideal for a 2-3 pack of games with enhanced graphics and maybe some secrets.

Already mentioned here, but the early games in the Ys series for the win. Yeah, they've been remade a bunch of times in Japan...NOW WHEN THE FUCK DO THE STATES GET THEM!?!?!?!

I would like to see Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake remade with PS3 graphics.

Nekketsu Kakutou Densetsu. Best game in the series, hands down.

Sonic 1, remade in 3d would be good. I mean, that unlockable in SA2 proved it can be done!

Final Fantasy 7 would be happy if it was remade on the PS3 with all of this Advent Children graphics and all.
Of course, they'd have to totally revamp the battle system to make it worthwhile to me.

But FF12 is looking kick-ass enough for me, and I'm really not into Final Fantasy so much.

Hm...

I would mind seeing Mario World remade with some overhauled graphics/sound, all that.

Worse. The Adventures of Loli, anyone? (squirm)

FFT on PS2 or PS3. With a second story mode, too, that adds some stuff (that you could also have in the original, if you chose) like Blue Mages and... well, that's mostly what I want.
