Afaik it's absolutely possible to place the main entrance in a screen after the midway point entrance. The only thing you can't do is to put the midway point entrance in the very first screen, or it will not work. Midway point entrances are also not working if you start a level in a vertical area.

I tend to just stick the midway entry point in some out-of-the-way enclosed area, and throw in a pipe that leads to somewhere near it on the ground via secondary entrance. But usually I can just tweak the level design a bit to accomodate for it.

Ehhh....Forget it. I will just plan this into my furthur levels and make sure it would work. For this level, I will just delete the midway. Its the first level anyways Thanks for the help guys!

In theory, yes. However, this would require tons of ASM, and it wouldn't be worth it. Your best bet is to rework the level.

It's always been that way. Midway and main entrance are at the same coords, and I think main has to come first or some such.

What the hell! I dont remember the Midway Entrance and the Entrance being proportional to each other! Sure it's been about a year or two...But since when do you have to have the Midway Entrance proportional to the Entrance? I want to have a Midway Entrance near the top of one screen, and my start on the lower of another!
