Halo running on a Celeron to boot. Probably a souped-up Celeron but still.
Expensive isn't the word, at least for the first wave of units. You're better off getting a good laptop for that price if you need something for the go. Bulkier but way stronger. |

Origami looks like a sweet little machine, but it's going to be expensive.
The thought of playing Halo on something that small is pretty much instantly crushed by the price tag equalling my mid-high end laptop. |

Meh, Apple have always produced interesting designs... except for that bit where that other guy was in charge and Steve Jobs was with NeXT that is. Then they produced some pretty boring stuff and NeXT put out this platinum thing... I'm not even going to speculate when it comes to Apple. Honestly, they're not the easiest company to predict. |

From the first iMac, to the iMac that looks like a desk lamp, to the G5 Cube, and the Mac Mini, and the evolution of the iPod into a minature portable media player, wouldn't the next step be the merge of the mac mini and the iPod? |

At the price tag, this won't be challenging the DS or the PSP even with its apparently gaming capabilities. Oh, and a 3-hour battery lifespan...
If I were MS, I'd try upgrade that lifespan to begin with. |

Looks like another attempt to resurrect their failed Tablet PC attempt. |

Actually I think this has been done. I remember seeing something like this months ago, it was $1500 and ran on a Transmeta chip. |

Microsoft Unveils Project Origami
This is interesting, a ultra mobile computer put out by Microsoft? I figure apple would have been first in producing this considering how they are designing computers as of late. Anyways, this may give PDAs a run for their money but I doubt it. Unless there is a lot of value added for this device that PDAs cannot provide... Your thoughts? |
