The scary part about that whole essay is that it actually makes sense. Can't draw any conclusions about it's effectiveness, though. Remember, Saddam Hussein, despite being outnumbered, ourgunned, outmuscled, outspirited, and just plain out ---insert your own word here---d , was once crazy enough to promise us the "Mother Of All Battles". Even when his people were thowing up their arms and surrendering in droves, he still thought that "Allah" was on his side. If that's not the signs of someone who could be considered "irrational" I don't know what is. And when irrationality meets lunacy, all sorts of things are bound to happen which do nothing to pacify the situation but make it worse.
And for the record, the last real "Mother Of All Battles" I've seen fought in the last twenty years was the one I fought on planet Zebes, armed with nothing but a gamepad. I won that one, too... |

"Missile defense is probably a good step in that direction. Next time some country steps out of line, we launch a nuclear missile at them. Just seconds before it hits, we blow it up with our missile defense so that everyone there sees the huge explosion in the sky. Then the president would just call up their leader and say, "Hey, we lost sight of our SDI test. Did you see if it worked?"
Hm, I actually think that this´d happen if he builds that missile defense. No, don´t hit me. I just speak the truth. |

From a european viewpoint, the US president is already a "homicidal maniac".

... I’d pick the dumbest reason for an attack, e.g., "A ‘q’ should always be followed by a ‘u’. I don’t make the rules, Iraq, but I will enforce them."...
Haha. That's essay's...a little crazy. On a side note, destroying the moon (nuking it won't blow it up) could cause problems to the Earth. |

I see no problems with this man's logic. I say we go ahead on it. |

If by full of bullshit you mean the guy is obviously writing a comedy essay, then yes. You don't actually think he's serious, do you? Jeez. |

Funny, but full of bullshit. |

I thought of putting this in World Affairs for a bit, seeing as it deals with that, but decided that it wasn't serious enough to merit that, so here it is.
This essay is just a really hilarious look at foreign policy, quite a good read. And completely insane. |
