SPP appealed to me because it was like old-school gaming yet it had very beautiful graphics done in a cartoony way, it had a good 72 levels, it was really fun. M&LIT Was very repeatitive, and I hated all the stupid tactics everyone had to do in order to get from "a" to "b" Super Mario RPG had something about it that I loved, and I don't know what. Paper Mario was pretty cool too, but I don't know why it felt different than M&L series, I just don't know...

That would be getting my first Nintendo DS game if I bought Nintendo DS. I have to make mony all over again.

MLPT was a little too linear, especially for an RPG.

I really hope they make a sequel of SPP, preferably involving the rest of Perry's tale. I want to know what happened to him.

You two have destroyed the last piece of hope for the world I had. Nice job.

And the very idea that the very Square-enix feeling Super Mario RPG had more Mario feeling than the cartoonish Partners in Time is... is... There are no words for this thread. There are no words.

Mario & Luigi PiT was very linear and boring, all you did was go to different points in time, go through a few rooms, fight a few enemies, hit some blocks, fight a boss, then repeat. There were no unexpected turn of events or disasters like in SS, until the end, so that contributed to the overall quality. SPP is a platformerer and I am for the most part satisfied with it. Since an RPG depends on a great story and such, I'm more lenient on the platformer.

And if you wish to continue to duke it out with me please resort to PM. Not that I want you to PM me, I'd rather you not, I'd just rather you not fill up the SPP thread with this crap.

Oh boy... two points here.

- Accept the fact that some people like certain games more than others. I'm sure a lot of people don't like Super Princess Peach but if someone enjoys it and wasn't a fan of M&L... so what? It's not the end of the world. *rolls eyes* Heck, ask Ashley (Yoshi Dude) - she didn't like Partners in Time.
- If you don't agree with someone's opinion, at least present your argument in a less dickish matter. I mean, this isn't nearly as bad as someone saying E.T. was better than SMB3 or anything.

Umm...

What's your favorite vibe? Mine's Joy, because knocking enemies away with wind is hilariously fun.

Well, I thought Superstar Saga was better than PiT, that's just my opinion. Anyway, this is the Super Princess Peach topic. I really don't have anything else to say about this game since I completed it 100%. Anyone else have something to say about it, good or bad?

I know this sound wierd, but... I think the "Mario & Luigi" series didn't have the same "Mario type" feel as much as his other games; they should bring back the Super Mario RPG feel back to gaming, but I don't know if they would without square to help them again...

Stop right there. The other games are good, but don't waste your time on Partners in Time. What a waste of $35. I'm looking to sell it as soon as I can. I've got an angry review of it sitting on my hard drive that is almost finished. Maybe i'm wrong, but I think it's one of the worst RPGs I've ever played.

Nah, you're right, PiT was terrible, I don't recommend it.

Back on topic, though, I already got everything in the game. After getting everything, the levels become quite boring and pointless, however, they were still fun the first few go-arounds .

Wait, I thougt that was in Giddy Skies...

And you don't really need Endless Vibe, but its usefull for herding them together with Gloom.

You don't need the Endless Vibe or Dashbrella at all. If you already have the more difficult to obtain items you probably don't need to be collecting coins, anyway. I myself preferred the Goomba waterfall in wavy beach; the series of pipes where goombas keep falling onto a long blue Poundbrella breakable platform.. Got thousands of coins with only the coin smash powerup. It sure would have been nice if I had something to do with them, now...

In case anyone has the time, there's a great place to rack up coins fast. Go to Wavy Beach 2. Make sure you have the Endless Vibe, the Dashbrella, and that item that gives you money everytime you hit an enemy. Use the Joy vibe to fly to the ledge directly to the right of the starting point. You can either run back and forth slaughtering Green Koopa Troopas, or you can bounce on the them all and hit a shell at them. Very fun.

Yeah you guessed it, I just got my DS, and spent a lot of money that I really don't want to think about on my DS games, kind of stupid, but I'm bored.

I greatly enjoyed it. I got kinda bored after I got everything unlocked, but over the next long while, I'ma try to max out my coin bar, see what happens.

I liked it very much; it was like YI mixed with SMW; but it was too easy, and repeatitive, but still pretty fun.

This definitely wasn't one of my favorite Super Mario platformers, although I still enjoyed it. Seeing all the old Super Mario enemies and stuff and just jumping all around and going in pipes pleased me enough. Some of the weak points of the game were that the levels became pretty predictable as you got further along, you'd always be estimate when the goal would be coming up. Also, the fact that they didn't finish up Perry's story was disappointing. They shouldn't have put the ????? in the bonus menu when it just turned out to be the Endless Vibe switch, so I was pretty certain that they were going tell us the rest of the storyline. Hell, the damn umbrella's storyline was better than the main storyline.
