What I've found really fun the past few years is drinking with my parents. My folks were visiting me in Oxford this weekend, and my dad had me show him some of the historic pubs each night. So the last two nights I ended up having 2 pints and 2 glasses of wine, and 4 pints, respectively. Fun times, especially as they were paying. My parents are actually decently fun to hang out with when they're treating me as an adult.

Unlike most people who desire to get drunk, I drink alkie for taste. I enjoy white wines over red and love to try out different scents, grapes, colors and of course, taste. I'm also very fond of champaigne.

As for beers, I choose lagers for the heavy hops taste. Arrogant Bastard Ale is definately worth trying. Sometimes I like to go crazy with malt beverages and I'll mix them in with sodas.

My most favorite kind of alcohol would have to be hard whiskey. I love feeling it burn down my throat and the sweet, sharp taste. Crown Royal is one of my favorites.

I actually missread the last line in her post.

I had assumed she was the person who has their head bowed.

The way I thought of it it was funnier.

That's just forgetfulness and not a real drunk story though.

And I think Snow's... well... pretty obvious in that picture. XD I mean, the only really happy one there...

I hate the fact that I didn't get all that drunk tonight, and STILL managed to lose the fucking keys to the house. I should be shot. Goddamn!

The one to the right?

I can´t wait until I´ve some stories to tell. I haven´t been drunk yet. It might not be good but I´d like to try it just for experience.

ST, I've got to say, that picture of you, even if it is your worst, is quite cute.

As for stories, I've got a bunch, though the best unfortunately I don't remember. Like the one, and only one, time I have gone drinking to "drown my sorrows" ran into a friend the next day who spoke to me like I'd seen her the previous night, but I didn't remember that at all. Apparently I had been over to the housing where she was, and spent an hour or so over there, incredibly wasted. I did have fun, it was a good night.

What's really funny is how my my 'character' drank here when I was here last, when I had never had a drink before...

Danielle + alcohol = No.

However, if I'm not affected by other people drinking, reading stories is hilarious.

Ironically, I haven't replied to this until now because I was out drinking last night.

I have some good stories. Like the time we got a keg into my dorm room. My RA heard about it (because everyone on the floor heard about it), and we were talking to her and she looks around and says "Is it true?". "Is what true?" "Do you guys have a keg in your room?" "Yeah..." "Oh man, that's awesome! Can I see it?" After we showed it to her, she reminded us that she was going out, and she knew nothing about it. Then she called her boyfriend and told him about it. Needless to say, we had the coolest RA ever.

Hahah... oh lordy.

Went to a "house party" that turned out to be a couple of kids on a beach with cases and cases of budweiser and sky melon. I had smoked just before arriving, so the 4 buds I had and the shots of sky melon.. got me pretty um, out of my mind. I was in my friends car (don't worry he didn't drink), and from what I can remember... I was just rambling on and on. And I was scared he was going to hit into signs (??), so I was like "WATCH OUT THERES A SPEED BUMP SIGN COMMING UP!!!". And shit. I left my boyfriend at the time a voicemail telling him about how much I missed him, and about how weird it was to be alive and breathing and on earth.

I don't have many fun drunk stories, because I really don't drink too much. I smoke. But, both times my sister got drunk.. she pissed herself. Once was in the hallway of my house... and we got it on tape. That was funny because she wasn't drunk to the point of puking or being sick.. but she was still drunk. It wasn't funny when she almost died one night. But drinking's cool if you drink responsibly.

I actually have a hysterical picture of me.

Warning: this is probably the worst picture of me ever taken... ever. I was high/drunk and SUPER happy. Guess which one I am.

Another booze thread! Yay!!

Lets see, my latest adventure found me at my friend's birthday party, where I put my own rules aside and I just kept downing jello shots. I had over 20 and my head was feeling it in the morning.

Yes indeed, everyone is my friend, well, almost.

Heh, and about three weeks ago, I was out bowling and drinking with my colleague's, and I actually tried to hit on one of them (though, in a more jokingly manner.. I think..). And she is well above 30, and has two kids. Oh shit. XD

And once, which I think must be my drunkest time ever, I was meaning to walk home, but I walked in the completely wrong direction for reasons unknown to me. The road was slippery, and I kept falling constantly, according to my friend (I don't remember anything about this part).

The next thing I remember was climbing over a fence, walking through lots of trees and bushes. I remember feeling very exhausted, and seeing some animal, which I later figured out was a horse..

Next thing I remembered was that I was lying on the front porch of our house at what must've been somewhere around 6 ,7, or 8 in the morning, still unable to see things 100 % clearly. Dear god. And the worst part was, I wasn't wearing any shoes, and I had no idea where the fuck they were. For the following week, I kept searching high and low for those shoes, but to no avail.

I loved those shoes, they were perfect (and rather expensive..). Warm, comfortable, and with a special sole that gave me a better grip on ice. Ugh.

I will never do that again.. but there will always be plenty of other mistakes to do..

I bet Rando has you beat. 6'4", broad-shouldered, 250 pounds (some of which is padding, but most of it comes from his oafy frame), and he gets too tipsy to drive off one garden-variety beer. Then again, he seems to be chemically sensitive in general (except for caffeine - he and I both consume mass quantities of caffeinated pop and it doesn't seem to do that much). His few experiences with...other mood-altering substances have been hilarious.

Once, got drunk, almost made the moves to a hot, older cousin.

I hope it wasn't a first cousin. But I fear it was.

Actually it wasn't.

Second cousin. Her mother is my first cousin. But still. Bad enough.

When I get drunk I get a bit too happy and optimistic. And friendly and say things "I love you guys" but in a quiet manner. I don't yell.

Srsly.

I had to go to a family function on my father's side a few years back and there was a cousin who... well... was quite attractive.

The good thing is that it was a fourth cousin and I think the blood's pretty thin then. And NOTHING happened.
