Yes, well I was too o.o Which is why even though I have some twenty pages in a book dedicated to tits and arse, I still can't draw tits and arse

The other useful thing I remember is girls are like a figure 8 but with a bigger bottom bit than the top bit of the 8

..... I.. er.. I think I'll try my best and remain with my comic-y style. I think I'm far too bashful to train like that.. ;;

It's one of those things that stuck in my brain when I was learning... I even went and bought a book on how to draw female anime characters and it's one of the first things it taught me.

That and how to draw panties. Panties on, panties off, high cut panties, panties from behind, panties from the front, panties from underneath, panties panties panties....

And another ten pages on breasts.... breasts from above, below, squashed, in a bra.....

I'll stick to giving you the much more simple, useful information... like the hip thing

Sion.. you say that so confidently ;

Thanks for the keynote there, Tarale. I tend to remember drawing certain things by reading tips like that.. And I'm almost positive that's gonna stick in me brain. *nod nod*

I agree that the hips need widening. Hips always need to be wider than the shoulders for girls (and with boys its the opposite) otherwise you wind up with boyish girls (and girlish or overweight boys)

Otherwise you've done very well. Coloring is very nice and vibrant Like the expression on the face, she looks very cheeky.

... And you couldn't tell me that in any of the earlier versions I showed you?! That some one of the things that I could've easily fixed on the spot

I think she needs wider hips.

Wow, you gave me some good insight, there, man

I guess I was a bit lazy with the clothwork.. but the face.. no excuse for that...

Thanks

The face looks slightly off but overall the drawing is fair.

[ + ] Great coloring
[ +/- ] The clothwork was well-placed but a tad bland. No points taken, no points given.
[ + ] Linework is a bit above average
[ - ] Face looks awkwardly placed

I give it an 8/10, marginally good but can still use some improvements.

Suggestions:
-Work on the perspective of the head, especially the eyes.
-Try to add more clothwork to make your character more interesting.

v Edit: Anytime!

Oh, I could imagine that, and I did. But I would rather actually SEE it than NEED to imagine it. And in that light, thanks, I appreciate seeing it as you have included it. Looks good.

After doing a quick doodle.. I realized that technically, all you had to do was add a cowboy hat onto that picture of Hikari with the blue jacket.

Sky.. either you were too lazy to imagine that, or I was tricked into drawing

Shoes are also another finicky thing I have Atleast I can deal with them better than fingers.

I hate drawing fingers.

Everytime I had to draw fingers I contemplated having the character have hooks for hands.

I like the drawing. Only iffy part are the legs which KATW and yourself mentioned previously.

The legs kinda remind me of Mega-man's legs. I kid you not.

Aside from that. I like her outfit as well.

Nice job Kirbster.

I guess I'll get to it But I'm gonna say that she's gonna be drawn in a more chibi/super deformed fashion, because it takes me about 10% of the time it takes me to draw stuff like that

Ah, good to have a nice mental image for Hikari...though maybe you should draw her in A Western Tale clothes so those of us in the story don't have to mentally switch outfits?

Sidenote: Yes, those are being pushed up. Just don't tell Hikari I said that ;

Gahh! The belt! I knew I wasn't paying attention to something...

And just for you, Grey, I'll show the normal version of Hikari. (It wasn't drawn by me, but I colored it)

Surprisingly, that's not actually the way I imagined her. But it's very, very close.

Oh good lord, that anime... that sparked so many balloon jokes it wasnt funny XD

Either way, the only complaints I have are that the belt looks... flat and plain, and the boots... yeah... you said that already .

Nice picture none-the-less...
