This game has been pretty easy, and very fun, but the news made me laugh.

$2 for some horse models XD, oh man, that's hilarious.

Alright, I need to take a break from this game before my head explodes.
I wont but I need to.

Ive put in about 78 hours and have finished the Arena and every guild (Except the Mages Guild).
Ive also done alot of sidequests and been to alot of dungeons.
I havnt even started the main quest so thats my next goal.
Then its off to be a Mage

Im also proud to say I havnt cheated yet (Because I havnt looked them up)
I am waiting untill I finish the main quest and the mages guild before I even try them because the first time I cheated in Morrowind I found it nearly impossible to not cheat on every character I made after that.

Heh, I forgot this forum existed. Whoops. >_>

Anyway, this game is amazing, I've put in about 17 hours and haven't even started the main quest yet.

Yes I used a No-CD crack for my friends legit version, and it works fine. All it needs is to think that the DVD is in the drive and you're set.

I did some final checking... apparently the protection system is a simple DVD check. So as long as it sees the DVD (whether it's the original or a copy), that's good enough. Seems like those rumors about using Starforce until the last minute might have some truth.

It worked perfectly when I played earlier today except for some major lag when The Emperors knights battled the assassins.

Same thing here Trapster. It's been working fine for me, not many bugs or anything. Sometimes, very rarely, when I go to the imperial city, the game won't load correctly though and freezes the computer completely.

Great game though, would totally be worth the money.

The only problem that we ran into, was that we needed a new video card; the game was running a bit choppy. So for now, we bought a Radeon ATI 9550. Runs real nice now.

I didnīt have to burn the ISO file to be able to play it. I just installed it and played.

I used Virtual DAEMON Manager.

Dracoon: I'm not sure. I mean, maybe the *cough*other*cough* version was already cracked before being released, but the instructions clearly say "Unrar, burn to DVD or mount, play." So either it was previously cracked OR there's no protection.

I had heard a rumor about them originally planning to use Starforce then dropping it, but...

That happened a lot in Morrowind too...

Am I a bad person for downloading this instead of buying it?

ROFL! I did the same. Will probably install it this weekend.

Oh yeah, Iīm so bad.

Wait, no protection? I don't even need to hunt down a crack to it? You're kidding right!?

I don't think so, but I'm wondering why there doesn't seem to be a protection system on the game itself. The... um... alternate version of the game simply had an ISO image - burn + play. And that's what I did.

Yours will probably be better.

Besides, I did the necessary tweaking and now it runs nice and smooth. So basically as long as you got your computer in the last 2 years or so, you SHOULD be able to run this somehow. Whether the graphics are top of the line or not.

- Athlon 2500

No crap, you really think so? Iīm gonna try it on high too since Iīm curious how much itīll lag on my computer.

AMD Athlon 64 3000+
1024mb RAM
Hightech Excalibur Radeon 9800 Pro.

Runs perfect at 1024x768 on highest settings (with 4x AA and Bloom).

P4 3.2Ghz
2GB RAM
nV 7800GT

It's funny since I did a check online and I easily meet the minimum requirements to run the game. I'll probably end up playing with textures/all that and getting a good result in the end, but it's a lot of legwork.

The game actually looks NICE in 800x600 but I dunno if that translates well into 640x480. Only one way to find out...

Well, my computer's halfway to the minimum requirements.

Can someone send me a better computer? This thing's got a fucking celeron and only 256 MB of RAM, think of it as a pity gift or a donation to charity. Please?

Nah, I'm probably just gonna get it on Xbox 360; from what I gather, all Xbox Morrowind was missing was mods, since in time there was even a version on Xbox that had both expansions, and chances are Xbox 360 will have other games I want. And I won't need to worry about mom's fear of the insides of electronics that way... better for everyone involved.
