Meh, I see that as a waste. A few years ago, I did something to my back that pretty much kept me in bed for a week. It was during the summer, so I didn't miss school (damn...), just couldn't move. I don't know what happened. I went to the doctor, who told me I just "tweaked it" and rest would do the trick. So I rested. It got better... but now I have the cracking issue. >8(
Oh well. I imagine that if it gets worse in the future, I'll have it checked out.

You should go to a chiropractor, Danielle

Oh, and uh. I didn't say it before, but I can crack my left wrist and right big toe area by moving them up and down.

I have back issues, and constantly have to crack my back to keep myself comfortable. If I go too long not cracking it, I can feel it get stiff and uncomfortable.
I don't know what that is. But to keep the pain away, I crack my back often.
I don't crack my knuckles or anywhere else I can think of very often.

Nope, I don't do cracking. I think my sisters does. When I was younger my parents and stuff used to tell me you'd get artheritis..I don't know how to spell it but yeah. I never did it. Sometimes they do crack on their own though

I crack my fingers and especially my big toes. I've had people complain at me for cracking my big toes. Though, if I crack alot, it will stop working after a while.

Occasionally I'll get the odd crack in my back, knees, or neck, but I can't do those on purpose.

I just came to think about something. Sometimes my knee feels kinda stiff and it cracks automatically when I stretch it.

Ah, yeah, sometimes I can crack my hip. It's loud and feels so nice. I don't quite understand why that feels good, but it does.

I do it with my knuckles fairly often and that´s about it. Nothing wrong here.

My knee cracks sometimes too and those crackings are LOUD.

I can crack every joint in my hands, wrists, neck, shoulders, back, hips, knees and ankles. Never gives me any trouble, and I've been doing this for years now.

Mortals.
I crack my neck, shoulders, my jaw and my back all the time. And I crack my left wrist by stretching it.

I crack my toes all the time. It can hurt if I do it too much at once, but otherwise it's fine. Grosses my mom out.

I rarely do it... usually when I do it's purely accidental. :\

Usually when I try to do it intentionally... nope. Not happening.

I done it a few times, but I hardly do it regulary.

And oh, I thought this thread would be about computer cracking. You made me disapointed.

I used to pop my knuckles, and I can't grip as tight as I used to, so I stopped. But right ankle can pop whenever I want it to, I did it for about 5 minutes one time, and so far no problems. I still crack my neck and back, its fun. I get some good pops out of it, which leaves everyone going ewwww But I always have a slight fear of neck/back popping I don't want to crack it too hard and break it that would be like bad.

Neck cracking is probably the most satisfying for me. Unless it is one of those bad cracks which leave you in a bit of pain cursing your poor skills as a cracker.

*I used three different forms of the word 'crack'

I don't know about weather it's normal to be constantly cracking either, but I have a toe that I can just keep cracking however often I feel like

I crack all my knuckles (first & second joints), my wrist, my neck, my back, and occasionally my knees, toes and ankles. So yay for hopefully not getting arthritis. It is kind of weird that I can continually crack my right wrist. Aren't you only supposed to be able to crack a joint every few minutes or so?

The only thing I can crack is my toes and after a while it can begin to hurt, but I highly dought it makes your hands, feet,or whatever else body part you crack puffey.

Web MD: Medical Myths Debunked

Cracking your knuckles will cause arthritis in later life.

ANSWER: False. Depending on your point of view, knuckle-popping sounds disgusting or cool. There is no evidence that cracking your knuckles inflames the joints and leads to arthritis. The cracking causes the bones to pull apart, forming a gas bubble and breaking the adhesive seal in the joint. Crack! About a quarter of the people in the U.S. crack their knuckles and might begin to lose their grip a little. Constant cracking can weaken the fingers.

Cracking your knuckles is nothing more than releasing the stuff that builds between your joints, generally gases. There's nothing wrong with it.
