Maybe I should have played these games. |

Eh, it was just a port. Sadly, it would probably also be one of the better 3DO games released.
I usually played Road Rash on demo kiosks myself. |

I never played another Gex because of the Gex on 3DO. |

To be honest when I played Gex: Enter the Gecko or whatever it was...I wanted to shoot myself.
However, I think it was the 3D0 (it was some sort of system with a bad control during the System Flood of the Mid-90s) version my friend had that will forever make that thing a game of love in my eyes. |

I've played Gex 2 and 3, and I had a great time with both. As I recall, 2 had better wisecracks, but the game engine and level design seemed more polished in 3. I'm pretty sure I finished both games, but I never did beat that evil superhero level at the end of 3. (Incidentally, I liked that it was an optional challenge. If you had already gotten enough remotes to activate the last level, you were good to go.) |

I think that was only for the Euro release though. According to Wikipedia...
Gex has also been voiced by comedians Leslie Phillips in Gex: Enter the Gecko, and Danny John-Jules in Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko for the UK and European releases of the game. |

Oh, good god... That was Danny John Jules? I'd have expected more from him, Gex's "wise cracks" were just cringe-worthy. |

Hm, didnīt SNES have a Gex game too or am I totally wrong? I mostly like the 2d games because I havenīt played any Gex game in 3d.
Sadly, I donīt remember much but itīs fun games. |

I love those games... have both Gex 1 and 3 for N64
Very fun, and a rather interesting plotline |

Can't go wrong with Gex 1 though. It was like..... a punked out SMW with a better objective. and more moves. |

I just liked the fact that the guy who voiced Gex in Gex 3 was the same guy who plays the Cat in Red Dwarf. |

those old gex games were awesome, I believe I played all 3, and my fav was the 3rd one. |

Well, personally my favorite one was the second one (AKA Gex 64). It was the first one I played, so nostalgia bias might be involved in that statement. Never got a chance to play the third one much, but I liked it just as well. |

I LOVED those. Major kickass with those. The first and third I liked the most <3 |

I loved those games. Like most of the games in its time, it was a collectathon. You went through all these levels based off TV and Movie genres. Very fun. Gex also randomly said crazy stuff during gameplay. |
