Oh, so that's why all the splash effects were in that band in the middle. |

Nice picture. The detail level is quite nice. I don't get with the Ailure thing, but... I'll figure it out eventually.
Am I the only one who looked up the source for the link? |

Is this supposed to be animated? I don't see any animation. It looks nice, though. |

It was pouring before, now I see a light drizzle.
Very interesting. Did you layer images or something? |

A few hours today (got home 4 PM, probably worked on it until about 5:30 to 6) but I worked on the engine itself yesterday (made it partially MYSQL-ran)...
the improved weather effects, like the new rain, was all done today... it used to just copy another PNG file over it -- example, for "fog", the only weather effect before today, fog.png -- but now it loads another script to generate the weather and pastes it over the image after rendering everything that isn't text or boxes... I might even make a "snow" effect, for the sheer reason of doing so (but it seems better to just make a new backdrop for that, as well, since it tends to cover things)... I might make the monsters MySQL'd too later, and mabye work on actual systems to control turns and such (or at least, select them). Before you ask, no, I can't incorperate it into this system on the board; I tried that, yesterday, and couldn't get anywhere. |

I wish it would rain like that forever...Nice job. It even gives that feel that it is raining in real life(It's night here) |
