Did it explode on the guy who threw the match? Because that's be funny and ironic.

Yeah, he hurt his arm pretty bad. He was the only one that got hurt. It was pretty great.
And he's going to jail for arsen.

Storytime.

Last month at my school, some idiot decided to put an aerosol can into a trash can and throw a match in.
Let's guess what happened.

It became known that he was the stupidest guy at your school?

Sure looks like it.

Oh, and the can caught on fire.

Once I blew up a trash can. And by trash can, I mean the moon.

I'm just thankful I've never had to deal with a bomb threat...

But I did go home early once in the eigth grade when a furnace in my school overheated...

I had to thank god for the last bomb threat that happened at my school several years ago since I got to skip economics class because of it.

Would be hilarious if someone brought a fake gun that looked exactly like a real one but was a watergun and fired it at someone.

I don´t think we had a single bomb threat at my old school but I´ve read about bomb threats at other schools in the newspaper. 99% were fake, though.

What would be the point of telling the staff you planted a bomb if you really did? If someone's planting bombs in a school, I imagine they'd want people not to know until it goes off.

Heh, my school had those colour codes too, but they were just simple code red/blue warnings. Red for something violent (like if someone comes in with a gun), blue for other things (chemical spill, fire etc). Never once used them, except in a single drill. Worst they ever had was someone bringing a fake gun several years ago. Lot of fights and false fire alarms though. (Generally being pulled, though one time they just kept going off for no reason, and people were actually told to ignore them. Surprised nobody started a fire at the time. )

Although we had a really big thunderstorm (rain and lightning in February, which is pretty damn rare here) a few days ago, coating the roads with thick ice. So Thursday and Friday were both snow days.

Huh?

This is when I state 'the situation is OVER you'.

Oh, and bomb threats that were fake. How original.

Normally the bombs that explode are the ones that arent warned: the 11-S in NY, the 11-M in Madrid.. did the bombings in London were warned?

However, here in Spain there are terrorists (ETA) and they explode a bomb from time to time, warning previously. Some are little, others not... but they warn before.

Anyways, my high school (my God, I'm glad I'm out of there...and away from those I knew at that place...different story though) they had some weird colour scheme to tell teachers what to do in case of a problem. They went on the PA and asked "Mr. Green to come to the office." As ya' might imagine, there's no Mr. Green at m' alma mater. That was for the teachers to lock the doors and not let *anyone* into the room. I know there were others, but never heard any, nor did I find out what the other codes were.

T'was a bomb thread one in High School. They moved half of the school to the track field and the other half to across the street from school.

Sadly. I was in the half that was in the school and located on the track field.

Nothing exciting happened because eventually they made us go back to our classes.

Someone actually had an explosive at one of the schools in my city... Someone else accidentally left an AK-47 in their car when they went to school. Needless to say, the guy with the AK (properly licensed, mind you) with no criminal intent was billed as being more dangerous than the one with the bomb. Yeah...

It really baffles me how anyone would be stupid enough to phone in a bomb threat in this post 9/11 oh-noez-terrorism era. Even if you don't get caught, it still seems like it's way more risky than when I was in high school.

haha bomb threats...
i remember back in 7th grade (year after colombine) we had one almost every single day through out the year. The school even freaked out during a power outage that the power company caused cause they hit a faulty line.

then in 10th grade i remember some kid thought hed be cool and put a note on my locker while i was in gym saying theres a bomb in the locker...yeah that day was a very long one, since i sat in the principles office then down to the police station for about 5 hours as they tried to drag somethign out of me that i never did.

never did get a apology after that day..maybe thats why i moved school districts...
This is a long thread. Click here to view it.
