I'm not sure if Deus is registered here; if so, sorry for possibly stealing the spotlight by posting this myself.
From el Compendium: For the last several hours, Deus has been working on his savestate editor for Chrono Cross, which makes use of saves created by the ePSXe emulator. It is now ready to release, and can edit character names, stats, star count, gold amount, equipment (both equipped and in inventory), and Elements in inventory. Deus has noted that in the near future, the ability to edit Elements equipped may be added, which could allow for some interesting Element Grids. Additionally, this means you can also circumvent the game's restriction on naming Serge "Crono" (though why you would do that is beyond me!). The editor utilizes the Python programming language to run in combination with the wxPython extension, and as a result is cross compatible between operating systems. However, if you haven't already installed Python and wxPython, you will need to do so. Download the editor here.
