Romhacking.net is down, I don't know what's going on, it went down sometime last night.

You don't need YY-CHR, I just recommend it, if you're using their tutorial for graphics I suggest you use TLP like they do so you don't get confused.

You can also get YY-CHR from Yy's page.

Your first hex editor should be WindHex32, it's a simple-to-use but feature-loaded program, it's all you'll need for a long time.

Instead of Tile Layer Pro use YY-CHR, it's much better in just about every way (It does lack SNES 3BPP mode, but that shouldn't be a problem for you, since you want to hack a GBA game)

I was wondering if there are hex editors capable of importing.exporting sprites and editing tex in FFTA, I'm not quite sure how hex works, so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question
