I'm a monkey! I always act like a monkey in real life...
But, no matter how many different versions of the chinese zodiac horoscope things I read, they always seem to fit me, and they always apply to me. At first I didn't think it would be right, but I was wrong. Monkeys Rule! |

Ah, this is my kind of thread. I'm actualy a close follower of the zodiac...call me weird, but yeah. It's always fascinated me. I'm a dragon, earth element (11/18/88), and my current girlfriend would be a Horse (I'm not quite sure of the element, 2/21/90 though), and for the most part, Dragon and Horse have a pretty decent compatability rating as far as personalities and the such go.
Dragon describes me pretty well. Though some aspects only apply sometimes, or to a lighter extent, I'm more or less clearly a dragon at heart. Also, has anyone ever seen the manga/anime Fruits Basket? I didn't really read through the thread so sorry if someone mentioned it already. It's based around the animals of the Zodiac and how it affects the various character, through personality and other things. It's really quite interesting and actualy gies alot of insight into the story behind the zodiac and its various members. |

Your chinese element is the wood. Wood personalities are peaceful, compassionate and considerate. The downside is, that they sometimes neglect their own needs!

It seems that I was born in the period of the Wooden Ox.
People born in the Year of the Ox are patient, speak little, and inspire confidence in others. They tend, however, to be eccentric, and bigoted, and they anger easily. They have fierce tempers and although they speak little, when they do they are quite eloquent. Ox people are mentally and physically alert. Generally easy-going, they can be remarkably stubborn, and they hate to fail or be opposed. They are most compatible with Snake, Rooster, and Rat people. I don't feel any more patient than the average person. I do talk little. I don't see myself as eccentric, but people have said I was strange before. So.. maybe I am, a little. But I don't want to be! Bigoted? I have always thought of myself as the opposite.. I do have a fierce temper and anger quite easily, though. Eloquent speech? Maybe, I don't know. Never thought about it. Mentally and physically alert? Probably. Stubborn? Yes. |

Let's see I'm born in the year of the Tiger and my element is fire. Also my zodiac is Leo.
"Tiger people are sensitive, given to deep thinking, capable of great sympathy. They can be extremely short-tempered, however. Other people have great respect for them, but sometimes tiger people come into conflict with older people or those in authority. sometimes Tiger people cannot make up their minds, which can result in a poor, hasty decision or a sound decision arrived at too late. They are suspicious of others, but they are courageous and powerful. Tigers are most compatible with Horses, Dragons, and Dogs." Fire personalities are energetic, decisive, confident and goal-oriented. That can make them aggressive, selfish and self-centered! Direction: South Season: Summer Time of day: Noon Moon Tendency: Full Moon Planet: Mars Form: pointed, three-cornered Colour: Red Taste: bitter Organs: Heart and small gut Sense Organ: Mouth Sense: to taste Tissue: Vessels Appearance: Face Emotions: Happyness and Hate Noise: to laugh Stage of development: Growth Kua Number: 9 |

Dog. Nothing neat like a dragon or a tiger or even a rabbit... a dog. And a Water one at that too.
People born in the Year of the Dog possess the best traits of human nature. They have a deep sense of loyalty, are honest, and inspire other peopleˇ¦s confidence because they know how to keep secrets. But Dog People are somewhat selfish, terribly stubborn, and eccentric. They care little for wealth, yet somehow always seem to have money. They can be cold emotionally and sometimes distant at parties. They can find fault with many things and are noted for their sharp tongues. Dog people make good leaders. They are compatible with those born in the Years of the Horse, Tiger, and Rabbit. ...Yeah, that REALLLLLLLY fits me. |

Earth Dragon.
...gets me right on a few points. Well, most of them. Your chinese element is the earth! Earth personalities have high ideals, are loyal and self-confident. On the other hand they can be stubborn, inflexible and unreasonable. Same as the dragon, pretty much. Direction: Center ... Season: late summer Spot on. Time of day: Afternoon Yay. Moon Tendency: Full Moon Never did like complete darkness at night... Planet: Saturn ... Form: rectangular, plain Skinny and eating plain food counts, right? Colour: Yellow More orange, but yeah... Taste: sweet Candy? Organs: Milt and Stomach I eat a lot, yes. BTW, what the hell's a milt? Never heard of it. Sense Organ: Tounge I am a picky eater... Sense: to touch That is why I play my DS a lot *shot* Tissue: Muscels HAHAHA! Spelling error! And no... just... no... Appearance: Lips People say I have big lips sometimes... Emotion: to think and to care Well, I do care sometimes, and I overthink... Noise: to sing WTF? Stage of development: Transformation ??? Kua Number: 2 and 8 ... Somewhat right, but not completely. Then again, these things have never been perfect... |
