(Hm, I hope I didn't kill this story with my 10 day absence.)

Adamant: Eh, I don't know. This isn't really something that concerns me directly, and Maijin said Evil SomerZ is under his directive, so I guess he wants to go.
Maijin: No. You're going.
Adamant: But you said...
Maijin: I said my mission is to keep an eye on you guys. Now look, you guys are not really normal human beings, and are considered a potential threat. Normally, you'd be held in government facilities, for the safety of both yourselves and others. However, since you happen to live in a micronation only a handful of people know exists, and it's in their own best interest to keep to themselves, you are allowed to stay here and do pretty much whatever you want to, as long as it is not of destructive nature. To make sure you all act like good little kids, an agent is to live with you, and keep an eye on your actions, while enjoying himself and getting paid for doing practically nothing. That's me, by the way.
Adamant: Right. And this has what to do with you not going?
Maijin: Simple. While I'm sorta-kinda responsible for preventing Evil SomerZ from causing trouble, this is all technically about him stealing your spaceship and you going after him to take it back. That hardly counts as you breaking the law, especially not since the government has arranged a top secret ship to help you fulfill your mission. My job is to keep what is considered the non-humans of Floatia from breaking the agreement you have with the government, which you guys really can't do up in space, and I can do better by actually staying on Earth.
Adamant: That's the worst cop-out I've heard in my life.
Maijin: I've heard worse. Mostly from Lord Zort. Okay, how about this? I have contacts and resources. I have access to data considered far more secret than the intricate details of of the very craft you're sitting in. I'm able to locate that ship of yours, but unless you get the hell off Earth right now, you won't be able to reach it in time.
Adamant: That doesn't really explain why I can't stay behind while the others go.

Suddenly, Maijin slaps the mage.

Maijin: Adamant. Are you really that afraid of going? Does Evil SomerZ scare you that much? Evil SomerZ, an opponent you've fought multiple times before? I may be a good fighter, but you, with your magic, have the potential to be so much more. You are far stronger than most normal humans, you can beat almost every single one of them in a simple one-on-one fight. Evil SomerZ is planning something rather huge, or he wouldn't have stolen YOUR craft. You have the power to make a difference in the upcoming battle. Don't you think you owe it to whomever his plan will affect to at least TRY? Don't you owe it to Floatia? Don't you owe it to your friends, who are putting their lives at stake, while your wish is to stay here, doing as little as possible? You have recieved a gift, Adamant! A man who is as powerful as you should at least ATTEMPT to give a damn when his friends are ready to sacrifice their lives attempting to stop this unrevealed plan of a powerful super villain from bearing fruit! I've just about had it with your selfish, arrogant slacker behavior! You used to be an idealistic hero who... DID things! Who made a difference! Nowadays, you never care about anything unless you are personally involved in whatever's going on. Unless Floatia is threatened, or one of your old enemies who still bear a grudge is attempting some grand scheme somewhere! You've been reduced to a shadow of your former self, and I do not want to watch this anymore! Get in that spaceship now! It's your fucking responsibility, and if you don't, I'll charge you for disrespecting authority and have you transferred to an actual facility!

Adamant gets up, climbs into the spaceship, fastens the seatbelt, and closes his eyes, without saying a word.

(Hm, making up random stuff as you go when you're really ready for bed produces some interesting results.)

SomerZ flinched
SomerZ: Argh! I... am... SomerZ! Why won't you believe me?

The cyborg stormed off in a fit of rage towards Kirbnite's house.

Floatia
SomerZ: Well, we'll have to make do without weapons then. Gerard, Stu, we're leaving! Are you coming, as well, Adamant?
Stuart: Where are we going?
SomerZ: Space! To find my ship!
Stuart: Space...? Outter space sure is mighty large, y'know...

Kirbynite: Well.. Maybe. If SomerZ's being knocked around, that should atleast tell SomerZ to look for SomerZ.. I guess I should contact SomerZ and tell him that SomerZ's up here.

Sky: Well, I did say knock him out. I don't think he's going to just let himself be tied up, after all. And I think the real SomerZ would accept being knocked out if it meant capturing this guy...right?

Kirbynite: Hoy, hoy! You'd be attacking SomerZ in the process! Can't we just, you know, tie him up instead? I'm sure they'll pay up a decent FNV bounty if we bring this guy in.

(I've been sick the last few weeks, which isn't really a good thing when you're trying to make quality posts. My entire internet activity level has been pretty bad recently due to this, as have my posting quality. I'll try to stick to this story and see how it goes.)

Clarence: Well, it has scanners and thrusters, obviously. No ship can be without things like that nowadays. I have to disappoint you when it comes to the arsenal, though. This is a ship built for space exploration, and doesn't have any for of offensive equipment. I guess you could remove some unwanted equipment, like the mineral probe, and install a weapon in it's place, but it would take some time, and you would have to provide the weapons, which must be designed to fit where the unwanted equipment used to be... we're talking weeks of modification here, and as far as I understood, this crisis you're trying to prevent is imminent.

Sky glared at SomerZ.

Sky: You...do realize that we know who you are, right? Or at least they do, and I know that you're not our ally. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't knock you out right now.

(OoC: Sorry, the past week has been Hell, but now it's settling down, and if you all are up for it, I'm ready to continiue this)

SomerZ: Just a sec... Ooooomph!

SomerZ fell to the ground.

SomerZ: That idiot never knows when to stop.

With that, SomerZ pinched the inside of his left arm, a signal the two had devised to show that the fight had to be stopped. He then went out to take a look at the spaceship.

SomerZ: Oh yeah, this will do. This will do just perfect... Well, if it has scanners, of course. And rocket thrusters. And a sizeable arsenal...

Neo Grape Gardens

SomerZ: Well... Errr... I'm woozy, too much fighting... Yo, red caped dude, throw me a beer, will ya?

After amusing himself for a few minutes watching the cyborg beat himself up, Adamant the doorbell ring, and went to let the visitor in. A tall, blond man wearing a white spacesuit was standing right outside, near a rather fancy looking spaceship maybe 5 meters long and 3 meters wide.

Man: Yo. My name's Clarence Nelson, and I was instructed to deliver a four-person rocket ship at this address.
Adamant: That was fast. I'll make sure to order from you guys in the future as well.
Clarence: Yeah, we don't really make home deliveries of top secret prototype rocket ships, this was more like an exception. But thanks anyway. Would you like a pilot?
Adamant: I don't know. I'll ask.

The mage turns and yells into the palace.

Adamant: Hey, Z, come take a look at this spaceship! You think you or one of your crew can pilot it?

Sky: You know, Kirb, I changed my mind. I don't think we have to do anything. This is the best time I've ever had at your place.

Sky went off and fetched some lawn chairs from the Winnebago, which he set out on the ground for the group to sit in.

Sky: *sitting down* Good times, man, good times...

SomerZ: Bah, that rat-bastard is just trying to "repay the favor" I just did him. Oh well, two can suck at that game...

With that, the cyborg got up, then raised Blastie up in the air, and proceeded to hit himself with all his strength in the gut.

Blastie:

A few seconds earlier, Neo Grape Gardens

SomerZ: What in the Hell? My twin? What are you gu... Ooooooomph...! My tummy hurts...

SomerZ pushed the Red Mage who was on top of him off, and proceeded to whack himself over the head, the ensuing seconds had spectators in both Floatia and on Neo Grape Gardens amused, as all they could see was basically one half of a big fight.

As the cyborg finished his sentence, he suddenly fell to the floor, seemingly in pain.
Adamant: Hm, I'd say Evil SomerZ is right in the middle of whatever he was planning right now, and we still have no idea of where to start looking for him. This doesn't look good.

Maijin, who had left the room to make his call, returned returned with his cell phone in his hand, having just hung up on his boss.

Maijin: One four-person rocket ship coming up. The boss said he's gonna contact NASA and have a pilot bring the ship straight to the palace. Free of charge.
Adamant: Hey, that's great. It seems like Evil SomerZ is putting his plan into action right as we speak, though. How fast ARE these ships?
Maijin: Not really sure. Last time I checked, the fastest one could reach Mars in 10 minutes, but that was a couple of years ago.

(Yeah, a tiny bit of godmodding there. It couldn't be avoided.)

Sky: SomerZ's twin? Oh right, that. I hadn't really considered that. All I knew is that he wasn't SomerZ and was pretending to be. Which suggests he's probably not friendly. I suppose if I had remembered the twin-thing I might have found a nonviolent way of doing it...

Sky thinks a moment and gives a swift kick to the cyborg.

Sky: ...or not. Look, it's not that I want to cause SomerZ pain...it's that I want to cause this guy pain, and don't particularly mind that SomerZ feels it too.

Kirbynite: Reeh?! What're you doing Sk-- Oh.. Wait.. wait wait wait.. That was SomerZ's twin or something.. Some guy that's connected to him... They both feel the same pain when its inflicted on them..

Kirbynite looked at the grounded cyborg.

Kirbynite: ... Unless you did that on purpose

But SomerZ didn't hear much of what Kirbynite had said, having been smashed into the ground. Sky drew his sword and pointed it at the cyborg.

Sky: Circuits fried or not, if he's well enough to speak then he would know that I wasn't acting normally there. Or at least SomerZ would. Who the hell are you?

Kirbynite: Oh!! So that's the reason why you haven't flipped out over certain things! Hm.. Well.. how do we go about fixing it? I've already forgotten how to do all that mechanical work on you from the ability I had long long ago..

SomerZ was in a pickle, and he knew it. This man who was hugging him right now was an acquaintance of SomerZ, that much he remembered. He was also, judging from what he had just said, a good friend. However, SomerZ had no idea what his name was. SomerZ slowly and awkwardly put his arms around the man hugging him.

SomerZ: It's, uh, good to see you, too, uh, friend... But I think, uhhhh, the fall must have knocked some circuits out... Uhh, it seems I've swiss-cheesed my brain.

Sky walked up to SomerZ at this point and gave him a great big bear hug.

Sky: Ah, it's great to see you, buddy, it's been a while. Sorry about the fall. Seems the helmet's a bit complicated to take off. But that's alright, I'll help you with that later if you want. You know how much I just love all this cyborg stuff. Absolutely fascinating.
