Don't get too exited with Eggvine finally working, you should PM Golden Yoshi if you need help with some Hex editing and some other stuff.

I've downloaded visual basic.net and registered the other file and Eggvine is now working correctly. Thanks for the help.
BTW, are you planning to update eggvine anytime soon? You could try using an interface similar to Lunar Magic or fixing the enemy names to their official names on the sprite list. http://www.classicgaming.com/tmk/ has an encyclopedia that has those names.

That'll probably just be the first of a metric crapload of files that it wants.
I'd recomend attempting to find the entire set of VB runtime files. Still a Google job though.

search google for COMDLG32.OCX and download it...you might also have to register it, go start run, regsvr32 Tanookirby |
Posts: 15/387 I just downloaded Eggvine v0.08, and when I try to open it, I get this message:
| "Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" How do I fix this problem? I am trying to run Eggvine on Windows XP v5.1 SP2. |
