to those who made a big deal of this thread and/or berating me for doing it: Look, I don't stand out on this board--never have and never will. But I want to mark this occasion and I feel I am entitled to that. That is why I chose the title of the thread to be what it is instead of something like "look who joined the 10,000 post club". If I really wanted to make a big deal out of this, I'm sure I could do a better job in being obnoxious. |

Added the posts up) + 2100 (Est, GrapeGardens) + 149 (The last Acmlm board, the one before this one) + 4000 (est, I had 3807 on Nov 12, which is more than a month before I left so I can assume that I made at least 200 posts in that time. This post count is from the Acmlm board (The overclocked one, 2003)) Total = 8355 Give or take a few 100 or so posts. Hmm, a small amount compared to the post counts Milly, Colin and the others had in the old old board (2003 one) Geez. Edit: Oh, congrats on reaching 10K... |

I dunno, but there's obviously some "incentive" for people to post more on the forums. The little Nintendo dudes that hang out by your picture when you get enough points are very awesome, and I guess if you wanted one you can get a rank after 1000 posts (or 2000, if you're a spammer.)
And the ACS? Don't tell me you higher-ups don't care about post count. This entire board is obviously some awesome ploy to get people to help you power your "post-powered laser device". After we get enough posts on this forum, say, 400,000, you dudes are probably just going to take our posts and blow up the moon. You could do it. So, yeah, I don't really post unless there's something interesting for me to say. I don't want to be a tard and just quote the guy before me and say "What he said!' in every thread ever. |
