I own the entire series of Blue Submarine. Its very short for a series. I thought it was alright, but far from essential. I think it's too short for its own good, there isn't enough time for the characters to really get developed, and the ending comes kinda suddenly and is predictable (in my opinion anyway). The art was very good though.

It's a good thing to wait. With such a short series, I assume every episode has some importance.

I saw it on CN awhile back. Looked nice but was really 'mehish' overall.

I'm pretty sure this was on Cartoon Network for a little while so check if it's the cartoon network version. I didn't see much of it while it was on but Cartoon Network COULD have mutilated it so beware. From what I remember though it was about a civilization of fugitives living underwater? It also had some decent CGI in it. Correct me if I'm worng.

Even if I could rent it around here, it would cost something like $7 for one ep... No, buying it would be a better choice, money-wise.

Eh. It was alright. Nothing really special. I wouldn't buy it. It's only worth renting...if that. Very predictable and boring. Nothing too exciting.

Cool.

I guess I know where my <$6 is going. (discounts rock.)

I think there are 6 episodes in all. Ive seen the entire thing a few times and I love it. Its not really action packed, but the animation is really good quality, and personally I loved the story.

I don't have that packet thing.

Well, I have $7 in my bank account, and with $15 left for the second Februrary issue of sonic the Hedgehog, yeah, I guess I'll get this next chance I get.

EDIT: Looks pretty good. I'll get these. VHS, so I can watch them downstairs, but the only problem is, they're eps 1 and 4, so I miss a good bunch of the main story.

Ah well, I'm sure bittorrent might have something, unless I can find the other episodes hidden in that stack somewhere

I'm not sure, but if you have the STARS movie packet, I think they're playing Blu Submarine No. 6 on Encore Action this month. Just bringing that up in case you want to see it first. But I googled it, and the plot sounds interesting enough. I say go for it if it's $3 a piece.

Yeah, I found two episodes of this at the local store, $3 apiece, and it looks kinda interesting...

Before I buy it (I hate really tight budgets), has anyone else ever seen this / has it, and could let me know if I should get it or not?
