I bet you´d get more results if you searched for torrents and such things.
I think I´ll try that when I´m at my own computer. |

good luck with that...ive searched high and low...and I cant seem to find another full episode anywhere... they released a box set in japan in december, but unless you import it, you probably wont see it over here. maybe ill search more. |

Wow. That's just weird. Why does Spider-Man have a giant robot with a sword? |

Wasn't this, like, the original Power Rangers-type show (You know, guy battles villain, giant robot battles giant villain)? |
Alastor Posts: 2935/8204 |
Wooooow.
Anyone else notice how this spider man mask has much more narrow eyes which are also wider? Heheheh. |

I wouldn't mind seeing it with real subtitles without the lame jokes and comments from the fansubber that aren't even close to what's actually being said.
Here's the actual premise, which is rather different from the subtitles here. "In space, Professor Monster, leader of the Iron Cross Army (his cronies include right hand woman Amazones, a similar two Caucasian women, and crow-like henchmen) are in pursuit of the space craft Marveller, which comes to Earth and crashes on a mountain in Japan, freeing an old hermit named Galia, who was from the planet Spider (which the big Prof. plundered and destroyed long ago). After a race show, motorcycle stuntman Takuya Yamashiro (who lives with his sister and little brother, and has a photographer girlfriend, who's unaware that her boss is acutally Amazones in disguise! Wow, and you thought J. Jonah Jameson was evil!) is fatally wounded by Amazones and the crow-henchmen, but is saved by Galia, who injects "Spider Extract" into Takuya before turning back into a spider! He also recieves a metallic bracelet, which stores his Spidey suit (PLUS!!!), shoots webs, and is also a communicator for the Spider-Machine GP-7 and Marveller, which he can ride and transform into Leopardon, which kills Professor Monster's monsters with its "Swordvicker" attack (it hurls its huge sword at the monster, as opposed to slashing it)!" |

For some reason I was expecting Godzilla to make an appearance.
But midly funny it is. |

Lmao! I chuckled through the whole thing!
"That's some sweet speed bro!" - wtf? An obvious B-movie with the toy robots and craptastic visuals. But you gotta love it for comedic value nonetheless. |

yep...real show. and apparently it lasted for 41 episodes. mostly all of which are very very hard to find...although I think ill go searching, since I think its hilarious
well, considering there are a lot of live action stuff now, like sailor moon, inuyasha, I dont think much has changed in that aspect... if anyone else wanted to do any searching, just search for "Toei spiderman" or "Supaidaman" just a couple months ago in december, they released the whole dvd boxset... theres even an interview with stan lee on the last dvd about it.. |

Wow, that sucked.
Was this a REAL show btw? Because it doesn't look very serious. Or Japanese people were really retarded back then. |

The Giant Robot might be cool-looking but the programme itself looks quite crappy. But it can be fun to watch anyway.
When I´m bored, that is. Edit: This was so full of clichés that I almost puked. |
