Of note: in my earlier post, where I had all kinds of ¬s, I did "disable smilies." This may have altered it. If it doesn't add the A's in this post, maybe it's the presence of the character entity in the previous sentence... maybe. That would be weird. But these are not entities:

I have no idea what you are talking about; for example:
¬ (copied from your post, unencoded) ? (omega, also copied/pasted) Edit: aparrently, the only problem is extended characters turning into ?s, although I do not know how to prevent this. |

It's still annoying that it fucks up characters if you don't use the HTML entities. I don't know what's up with that, either.

Yeah, I tried to use the Ohm symbol, Unicode 2126, and it didn't come out right... [§Ù] Check character map, it should be there.
BTW, I was using the Arial font for looking up the symbol. |
