Assuming you're talking about Sonic 2 for Genesis, just hack this into your ROM and it will bypass the checksum routine...

Amongst the downloads on that site was a decompiler and recompiler...
Problem is there in another language and from what i worked out when i decompiled it it came out as a very small bin? I'm much confused as to how to work it and if it is working properly is this .bin ment to be the outcome? |

There are a couple of tools that can do it, if you happen to be using ESE II it was a checksum fixer built in, if not get Fix Checksum from the downloads section at Sonicology. |
