Posts: 437/5814		 Bumping the thread because the Japan launch took place this weekend... and it didn't go so well, as most people predicted. Granted, the hardcores stood in line to get a system or pre-ordered one, but for the most part... not good. Kotaku is reporting that some stores are already slashing prices to the point that if you sign up for an ISP contract, you can get a 360 for roughly $150 American.

...You know, even with shipping costs and taxes and all that, I think some people in America might be better off just importing their 360 at that price. XD

I'm not surprised the launch was met with a lukewarm reaction in Japan but I'm surprised at the price-cutting. MS has some work to do.

I'd say it depends on the game. At it's best, I'd say Gamecube looks better than Xbox. On average Xbox looks better though.

Actually, the review I read of it said that it looked worse on the Xbox 360 only because they didn't put a ton of work into the graphics so if you're playing via HD... you notice some glitches.

Only difference is it looks prettier. Game wasn't all that great, either way.

In my own personal opinion that is solely my opinion and is only used to express myself, i would like to say that a HD is something i a pretty sure that will be part of the Revo. I mean, "downloadable" n64 games not stored on some "solid" medium? do we have to re-download everything or what?

Yah I saw that, did they even test the xbox360? What idiots if they didn't. You always test any kind of consoles when they came out. The probably did, but they should of tested it for hour if they didn't allready.

Posts: 43/709		 Yeah, you need to get your facts right. The cube is superior to the ps2, and equal if not better than the xbox. If there is a God, gaming in the future wont be determined by graphic fanboys and it will rely on gameplay. Gameplay going from the ps2 > ps3, or from the xbox > 360, is basically the same, it just looks a little nicer.

Revolution the same graphics as GC...ha! And are you saying that the GC's graphics are inferior to ps2's and xbox's? Because it's better than ps2.

That's never been confirmed. Some people are jumping the gun because apparently the DEMOS for the system that reviewers messed around with used GameCube graphics, or at least simple graphics.

Multiplayer on Perfect Dark Zero wasn't that good.

Call of Duty 2 multiplayer sucks ass, and it doesn't look very impressive and it doesn't bring in anything new.

Yeah, I can judge two games, my friend got it, I'll just be chilling out and waiting for another system I think. Probably PS3 and Revolutions this time around... Assuming the Revolutions doesn't suck total ass.
